I've always wanted to see a picture of Rorshach facing off against Koishi and going "hurm ..." as she uses her sixth Spell Card ... :D

Whew, Patchouli's done.

Her hairbangs hate me. Oh well, despite a bunch of flaws in the end product, making her was still educative and fun.

And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!

Dilbert: Work ethic and common sense -> Marisa
Dilbert's Mother -> Mima
Wally: Lazy as all hell -> Reimu
Alice -> Alice
Asok -> ??? Has to be one of the Woobies, so probably Reisen.

If you're going for a theme, you could have Ran -> Dogbert and Chen -> Catbert. Maybe Kaguya as the bitchy desk clerk.

Just for giggles you could have Hakugyokurou -> Elbonia.

I think this works better if you switch Reimu and Marisa around. Marisa's really quite weird and relaxed in odd situations, which kinda fits Wally. Reimu is nominally lazy but ultimately gets the job done normally while complaining.

Anyway, I'd nominate Utsuho as the point-haired boss, Kanako as Catbert, and Youmu as Asok.

Yeah I thought about that. I put it that way because we know Marisa at least worked her ass off with magic, and Reimu...didn't. Also I thought of Mima afterward. Meh, it'd be hilarious either way.

Personality-wise, the closest to Dilbert's Alice is probably Reimu, though.

@Stormtroper: Aah, you're done! Sorry I didn't actually give you that reference picture for her clothes yet... ._.;

Hmmm, looking at the model, the first sketch really wasn't exactly ideal for modeling practice. You should start out basic, so a more chibified character would be best. The chibier the character is, the simpler the shapes, the better they are for practicing the basics of 3D modeling. So, should I go ahead and help you with that?

Re: Touhoubert.

I think that Cirno should be the Pointy-haired Boss so that she can steamroll all objections by crying, "I'm the strongest middle manager!" Utsuho can be one of the higher-up executives they have to suck up to.

I'm torn between Eirin and Orin for the HR Director.

Reisen the confused intern is love. Youmu might be good as another one, or perhaps a student from Reisen's school who's on the cusp of having all of her hopes and dreams crushed by office life.

I wouldn't worry about making Reimu and Marisa 1:1 stand-ins for Dilbert or Wally. They'll just be a couple of salarywomen with their own personalities, and you can build jokes from that.

Really? I thought it was the other way around, elaborate meshes to better understand topology. Well, I'll do that, it does sound more appealing, after all.

So, should I go ahead and help you with that?

If it's not too much of a bother, I'd be grateful.

Welllllllllll, I'm not exactly a 3D-modeler myself, but I figure that learning just about any craft goes by the same basic principles: Start with the basics, get a firm foundation, then build up advanced skills on that.

I'll see what I can do~

@Stormtroper: You might consider coloring her lips subtly, either with a slightly darker or redder tone, or maybe even purplish if you want to keep her technicolor pigmentation going. In those shots, it's a little hard to see her mouth.

EDIT: Upon rechecking the other pictures it turns out I'm an idiot, the lighting just made me see some kind of weird nose deformity in the third picture where there was none. You might have a few normals pointing inward that are messing with the shading, but it's probably just my eyes playing tricks on me.

Quick, somebody get Reisen II on the line.

Also, as much as I dislike her being characterized as incompetent, Kaguya would make a good PHB if only because that opens up the secretary slot for Mokou or Eirin.

Well, it did go like that at the very beginning.

To tell the truth, I don't recall where I got that bit from, I probably just assumed it after reading various, slightly less elaborate meshes supposedly a beginner can supposedly make. A dangerous assumption.

Also, thank you for all you've done for me, I hope I'm not being tyoo much of a nuisance.

Will do. Thank you.

No, you're right, there's a pair of nose vertexes slightly off even though it apparently looks fine from most camera angles and light settings.

Instead of trying for 1 to 1 matches, you'd probably do better by transplanting the Touhou cast into an office setting. Wouldn't have to worry about character derailment and you'd get unique jokes.

But still, Orin as the HR director would be a fun Shout-Out.

So, question: is it a Japanese office setting, US American or other? Maybe it's an office in Gensokyo or the Celestial Bureaucracy?
