^ And why are you insinuating that I'm bad? Have you read any of my works? Because if you haven't, then you have no grounds to insult me.
Sorry, but ad hominem isn't a good argument style.

"Who wants to hear about good stuff when the bottom of the abyss of human failure that you know doesn't exist is so much greater?"-WraithNeither is throwing a fit anytime someone has anything at all to say about the OCs you refuse to stop talking about.

WHO IS THIS LOSERThat wasn't even an ad hominem attack.

Shhhhhh. Not during Wriggle-time.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersFirst of all, I'm not throwing a fit everytime someone mentions OC's. I have a tendency to respond to posts about them since I've worked with them before.
Secondly, you could just ignore my posts.
But I guess being logical and intelligent is too difficult for someone like you.
I was under the impression that blindly attacking someone instead of what was being debated was ad hominem.
"Who wants to hear about good stuff when the bottom of the abyss of human failure that you know doesn't exist is so much greater?"-WraithAs amusing as a fight between Stark and Chagen would be, this thread is supposed to be on topic. Start talking about Wriggle. Or suggest someone else if you think we've ran out of things to say about her.
I had some long-ass post here but I'll summarize it: It wasn't an attack, it was a statement that you may not be as good as you think you are, you turned it into an attack because you have some sort of victimization complex, that's why you annoy me so much and why you're so frustrating to deal with and why I and probably others haven't even bothered to look up any of your stuff, if you took OC hate in stride and just tried to say "Look, try to give me a chance anyway and if you don't like it, whatever" instead of bitching about how everyone hates OCs, you might have a chance as an interesting and likable writer rather than a whiny little baby. Quit acting like King Character Creator up on your throne just because you've wasted more time focusing on quantity rather than quality.
WHO IS THIS LOSERStop this. We really don't need to get into this again. You may not have started with a personal attack Stark, but it certainly is one now.
Goodness me did one of my Berserk Buttons get pressed it sure looked like it did I should get a hold of myself.

WHO IS THIS LOSERGee, Stark, did you ever think I "bitched" about how everyone hates OC's because it just might be true? Which it certainly is.
As for the quality vs. quantity thing, you haven't even read one of my works, so you are in no position to criticize that aspect of them.

"Who wants to hear about good stuff when the bottom of the abyss of human failure that you know doesn't exist is so much greater?"-WraithI've said what I wanted to say.
You know who is a good character though, is Wriggle. Lot of fun to write for and a lot of people like her.
WHO IS THIS LOSERShut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up.
Anyway, Wriggle:
- Wriggle kick!
- What do fireflies eat, anyway?
- Hell yes
- It should work
- Insect queen
- Brown
- Dark princess
...Damn, and I thought it was hard to find good art of Aki. Definitely a satellite character.

I just want to know what Wriggle meant to do by trying to kidnap Remilia in Imperishable Night.
I have a message from another time...I'm in my happy place... I'm in my happy place... I am between Yuyuko's breasts...
Aaaalright so.
@Bocaj: Gladly!
I have no idea where the Princess Wriggle thing started, but- oh, wait, now I do~
Sou nano ka!
@Hylarn: Huh, that's surprising. I even knew most of those pictures already... heck, some of them multiple times, even.
I'm going to have to scavenge that tag in detail myself one of these days...
And scrutinize Wriggles' in-game dialogue, too. And her song description. Gotta squeeze out every possibility.
Man, the three mischievous fairies need to stop hanging around Reimu and Marisa all the time and interact with some of the little people of Gensokyo.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMakes me wonder... if fairies are drawn to powerful people, thus explaining why you fight them on the way to a dudette and they get denser - err, more numerous - as you move up the power scale... Maybe the Three Mischievous Fairies are just naturally drawn to Marisa and Reimu because they're so powerful.
It only figures that the main characters would get few, but exceptionally powerful, unwitting mook groupies.
Or maybe not.
I was like "what, only one new reply while I was asleep" and then I realized that my sleep was less than three hours hahahaha aughwesome.
Wouldn't we see like Yukari or Yuyuko or Utsuho as well then?
I vote that it lights up when she blushes.
I realized I'd spent a lot of time on the Touhou threads when, while poking around Danbooru, I started asking myself "would it make a good avatar for someone?"
It only figures that the main characters would get few, but exceptionally powerful, unwitting mook groupies.
Hmm... fairies are spontaneous, sapient manifestations of nature... fairies can grow in power... fairies that grow in power may become full-blown youkai...
So fairies are mobbing powerful characters in an attempt to defeat them and "level-up" into youkai?
Current earworm: "Mother - Outro"^ I second that vote.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAdorable!
Thirded!
I dunno, do fairies mobbing powerful entities just randomly conglomerate around whomever they find or are they like groupies of certain people? I know Orin had her own kind of fairies, but that may be a special case...
Oh yeah, I quite liked that doujin that's a collection of short stories about level 1- and 2 bosses! The idea that Wriggle had such an impact is pretty awesome.

Firstly: Fourthed!
Secondly: I've always had this image in my head that Wriggle is rather wealthy, but perhaps literally doesn't know what to do with it. Think of any and all loose change you've ever lost. Wriggle has it. How? why, her fabulous army of insects gathers them, thinking she'd like them.
Wriggle: "Oh hey, you found another of those shiny round things! I love these! Thanks centipede number 13532!" *adds to gigantic pile*
Now that's a new one. It seems more like something that Nazrin's mice would do... But of course, Nazrin is a lot more worldly and modern than Wriggle and would know exactly what to do with her wealth. Which makes the Wriggle variant superior because Rule of Funny.
Now I wonder what other parallels one could draw between Nazrin and Wriggle... They both have their swarms of vermin, which they may or may not treat similarly, but of course, mice have a rather different reception among the populace than creepy-crawlies...
Sliding back for a moment, I had a sudden thought about Youmu. Two actually:
1) You know how Japanese ghost stories often assume that ghosts are malevolent, regardless of who they were or how they died? I'll bet she hates hearing ghost stories because they make her imagine a world where her kind and loving mistress Yuyuko is a people-eating monster. Or it feels to her that the stories are saying, "You're half monster, you monster!" Kind of speciesist, you know?
2) Why is she so often portrayed as being short? I think I'm going to picture her as a tall and gawky kid just to go against the grain.
Trust me, I've created Hundred's of OC's for a lot of series. I Know This Stuff.
Just because you've done a whole lot of them doesn't mean you're any good.
