Also, Misfile. It actually had the potential to be good before it succumbed to the same sort of fetishy bullshit that plagues all transformation comics.

What are you even talking about.

I haven't read Misfile for a long time, but what eventually drove me away was the mediocre art and flat secondary characters, not the fetishistic stuff common to other TG webcomics. It may or may not have grown some of the latter in the interim.

I will keep my soul in a place out of sight, Far off, where the pulse of it is not heard.

I think the art has gotten worse, personally, but admittedly less moƫ. The characters...are still flattish, yeah.

The pages upon pages of Man, I Feel Like a Woman and Auto Erotica sure feel like it.

It may be the case that I have a broader definition of "fetishy bullshit" than others.

Yeah, Misfile is the perfect example of a webcomic that has potential, but between the excessive fanservice and the complete lack of character/plot development, never really lives up to that potential.

It'll be something I wouldn't mind archive binging, one day, though.

At least Misfiled Dreams is heading in a promising direction. Pity about the glacial update schedule.

What's precedent ever done for us?

^Thanks for that. Didn't know there was an AU.

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.

Second Law of Gender-Bending - Already there. By the eighth chapter, Ash has already admitted to herself that her life is definitely better as a girl and has decided to adapt to it.

Oh fuck no. I read Misfile to AVERT this. And that is one thing that it does do (sort of...)

The main plot's been heading in that direction for quite a while - Ash has more friends, has a better relationship with her family, et cetera, and she is gradually starting to notice it. Let's face it, lack of development there has more to do with the comic's glacial pacing than the main character's psychological issues. This fic just speeded it up a little along with everything else.

Think you just picked the wrong comic to look for a real aversion.

She's noticed it, but she still wants to be a guy, and that is what is important.

True, it's not likely that Dominic Deegan will ever improve its art, but one can always hope.

I think what he's saying is that she's sorta too good to be true.

She might be wish fulfillment in some aspects (Diaz denies that she's his own ideal for a girlfriend, and says that she possesses an exaggeration of some of his own flaws that would make her fairly intolerable for him to spend time with,) but barring the mad scientist stuff, she's not unrealistic. I've known girls who were quite similar. Hell, I've dated a couple.

...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.

Gunnerkrigg Court: Alright, I really don't have a lot of bad things to say about it. I think the art is fantastic (The author says he's also a fan of Mike Mignola, a big plus in my book.), the writing is good, and the characters are sympathetic. The only real complaint I have is that Tom needs to give more answers :( (Okay, I admit it's more because I REALLY want to know what the heck is up with Jones.)

Looking for Group: I haven't checked up on this in a looooong time. I really do like Lar's art, though I don't think the writing is quite up to standard.

Homestuck: Okay, one MAJOR complaint I have to make for it is the gods-damned Pesterlogs. An occasional wall of text is tolerable, but having them EVERY UPDATE becomes VERY tiring quickly. I've even begun skipping ones which seem to drag on. Other then that, no real complaints.

Spooky.
