According to the Laconic, it's not limited to those things.

The Nazi's would count under the racism clause.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickGo with the wider definition.
From my interpretation of the trope, it's supposed to be for any concept within a fantasy setting that noticeably resembles something in real life. What comes to mind for me is from A New Hope when C-3PO (a robot) offered to "donate his circuits" if it would help R2D2 (another robot) recover from damage. (As an apparent metaphor for injury.)
In practice, though, the trope does seem to be most commonly associated with things that remind one of sex. Maybe having a different page quote or different page image might make clearer that it's not limited to sex?

If it's broader than sex, then the article needs to be clear about that, so yeah, having a page quote and image relating specifically to sex may be distracting.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I think this trope is limited to "reminds you of DIRTY things"; it's not literally Does This Remind You Of ANYTHING?
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1... ok, let's decide on what the trope is about first, and if the current name is misleading then the trope could probably use a rename.
Fellow contributors, there is a MAJOR issue with the trope Does This Remind You Of Anything?.
The trope is supposed to mean anything that reminds us of sex, coming out of the closet, or drugs, but people are linking to it even if it reminds them of ANYTHING. For example, on The Lion King, people are linking to Does This Remind You Of Anything? because the hyenas are reminiscent of Nazi propaganda. And I don't think Nazi propaganda has anything to do with sex, coming out, or drugs.
Personally, I think this trope should be for anything that reminds anything of anything, while the old definition should be moved to Accidental Innuendo, as those tropes seem to have the same basic definition at the moment.
