Well Piccolo is also stuck wearing his turban & cape so I guess that didn’t help with the racist perception.

That’s the real dumb thing in all this, that they had him fight mandatory in his turban & cape.

Deku is in the same school as a fucking birdman so I dunno what his beef with Piccolo is.

Honestly Gundam Versus deserves more buzz than bleeding Jump Force.

Does Piccolo kind of have a evil aura due to his dad being evil, and he only stopped being Evil once the saiyans came in?

The point is the same website took what was supposed to be a gag about how Piccolo started as a villain to conclude the internet was serious about how Racist Deku is Racist, so them jumping the gun on Narrative is equally questionable.

Honestly that might be it, considering MHA did have a villain whose Killing Intent was so powerful that it straight up paralyzed a crowd of people, including the second strongest hero.

This wasn't an ability, by the way. He just had that powerful an aura. So maybe he sensed a demonic energy from Piccolo?

I'm grasping for straws here because any way you cut it, anyone from MHA guessing someone's hero/villain-ness based on appearance is complete nonsense. It's a society with fully integrated non-human looking characters who run the gamut between Dark Is Not Evil and Light Is Not Good. Honestly him being racist would make more sense because In-Universe it's so nonsensical.

Anyway, back to Gundam. Gundam Versus, you say? Is there news? Why are you saying it deserves buzz?

Well Jump Force is a very poorly made game so of course it would have fuck ups like this.

Huh I’d like to play a good Gundam game.

Because unlike Jump Force, Gundam Versus is a very solid game.

And besides, if Bandai Namco had enough sense, they should either port over Extreme VS 2 or create a properly expanded sequel to the PS 4 Gundam Versus.

I want Bael, Kimaris Vidar, AGE-1 Full Glansa and the Lightning Full Burnern, Gundammit!

But Versus is a very boring game to talk about. Jump has characters from all different franchises meeting. Versus... Has no characters. Or plot. Or anything to discuss.

It's a fun game, and great competitively, but honestly not worth talking about. There's just not a lot of meat for discussion, unless we're talking competitive strategies.

... or the fact the Guntank has an attack that is "launch the Core Fighter as a kamikaze" and it's the single best thing in any game ever.

That’s probably why they got retconned into being pre-OYW gun platforms that were proven outdated compared to Zaku I’s.

It's been a weird-but-consistent trend that Guntanks and its derivatives, no matter the continuity (be it UC, Origin, or Thunderbolt) are more suitable as basically large APCs than mobile weapons.

Lotos and the Guntank R-44 have accomplished nothing with their weapons and only succeed in getting groups of people from point A to point B.

Origin... pretty sure the one Guntank success was in transporting Casval and Artesia.

Thunderbolt: The only Guntank is shown deploying troops at A Baoa Qu.

Still, someone at the Gundam VS project staff must love the thing to keep it playable in some of the games. I'm actually sort of impressed.

I mean, the Zaku Tank is playable in Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn.

And if the Guntank is the redheaded stepchild of the V Project, the Zaku Tank is the abandoned baby left on a stoop of the Zaku project.

... reminds me, I really want a Zaku Tank model kit from the old 1/144 Zeta line. I really do love the idea of the Zaku Tank in general, and I liked the proposal for a Gundam Tank from... one of the Build Fighters design sketches.

The Zaku Tank was actually playable in DWG 2 and 3 as well. 3 even introduced the Gedlav and Einerad combo set and that's just one big circus wheel act

So the Uniqlo Gundam graphic tees are coming to the US. March 25, in fact. That's surprising. Doubt they'll have the Gundam or Zaku model kits, but I didn't care for those anyway.

Hopefully one day it'll be the same with the UK too. The US is lucky there's some Barnes and Nobles that sell gunpla. The UK doesn't have any of that.

Are those the only designs available? I'm looking for something a little more G Gundam or Tekkaden like.

Hell I'm still trying to buy a Federation Browns Jacket. Cause support the Earth Federation.

You know, depending on how this actually looks in real life, this actually looks like a pretty decent looking jacket.

I'm sure it's garbage quality and looks like shit, of course.

I just love the Federation Fashion. It's so simple, grays, blues, and browns, it works so well though.
