So what are the odds of fusion accidents in SMT 2?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.WHY? Why must Atlus torture us with SMT V teasing?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Because they get off on your tears?
I mean, they deliberately make bosses that destroy you if you defend yourself in a certain way or hit their weaknesses.
Yes, they enjoy our tears. It's the source of their power
One Strip! One Strip! The MegaTen Twitter account celebrates New Years by hinting at V news in 2020.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."The real SMTV was the tears we shed along the way.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Though the section's been pretty dead and is still stricken with bugs so I can't link to any art work or music like I could before I've decided to go ahead and start posting a live blog for the IV duology that I've been working on for a while: "Angels, Demons, and AI All Whispering In Your Ear - Let's Play the Shin Megami Tensei IV Duology"
I've wanted to cover those games for a long time, back when the section was still pretty active and I figured replaying these games would be something fun to do while we wait for news on V. Those who've read my Megaman and Devil Survivor liveblogs should know what to expect. Check it out if you're interested!

Wow, yours is already making mine look puny! It’s looking great!
Haha, thank you. When I'm writing freeform I tend to be pretty chatty so that can translate into length when I'm writing about something that I'm really into. I'm actually sitting on a Word document that's almost two-hundred pages and nearly 110000 words long and that's "just" for 90% of IV. If I make it all the way to the end of Apocalypse, and I hope to, the whole thing's going to be as long as a respectable novel.
Anyway, here's the next installment which covers the first trip into Naraku: IV Part 2: Naraku Odyssey I
I've always thought that the life of a "typical" Samurai must be pretty dull. Think about it - going deeper than floor 3 of Naraku is forbidden, and a much-weaker-than-normal Orthrus and Alraune are considered unprecedentedly strong.
Considering that there's a whole bunch of problems in Tokyo, the least of which are the conflict between the Ashura Kai and the Ring of Gaea, typical Samurai life being dull is probably a good thing.

Though I suppose even weak demons are more than a match for the vast majority of humans - remember all the damage the first wave of Slimes in SJ did?
Those humans had state of the art suits to make them stand on equal footing with slimes and we're still getting killed by the dozen before Space Marine killed it.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.True, but most if not all of those state of the art suits were also all at Level 1 and I suspect that the humans who died to that first wave had very low HP.
more importantly, they didn't have the summoning progam at the time, making the demons invisible, which would probably translate to free crits in gameplay.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Covering more tutorializing on challenge quests, fusion, and setup for the least subtle trap ever.
IV Part 4: Navarre's Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Self-explanatory, really.
Oh, and as an aside I can now see why HamburgerTime had so much trouble with the Ancient of Days back during his own live blog. That guy was a real Luck-Based Mission alright. Sanat was an absolutely cakewalk afterwards.

He's literally a superboss (obviously guaranteed to be tough) completely revolving around ailment mechanics, which are of corse a total roulette. ARGH.
Especially Brand.
That one is brutal since even if you can inflict it on enemies, it likely won't last as long on them as it does on you.
How do you fight something like that? Seriously?
...I'll ask this question again when I fix my 3DS and can fight him.
One Strip! One Strip! With Brand you just have to get lucky. Fortunately for the Ancient of Days you just have to make sure to bring Raphael along since his Stigma Strike move is guaranteed to brand the target as long as the move itself hits.
IV's post-Archangels DLC bosses require you to use the DLC bosses to beat them.

Thing is, Stigmata Strike? Can wear off on the SAME turn you apply it. You can do everything right and still end up seeing the Ancient heal to full due to that.
Yeah, that caused a reset or two. But since it only uses Diarahan on it's first press-turn the brand just has to last that long (and Raphael survives the turn to reapply it).
