Yeah after the second book they stopped translating them.
The guy doing it was doing a good job too.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Damn :(
Maybe one day someone else will pick up the torch.
Someone already has. Updates seem to be infrequent, but they're working on it.
Nocturne HD has been given an ESRB and PEGI rating, indicating Atlus is preparing for a Western release soon.
Fuck I wish I had a console. I'd seriously get that game for voiced cutscenes and Skill Inheritance alone.
One thing that's surprising as I'm playing Saga 1 is how much background you miss in the downtime between dungeons. The game doesn't go out of its way to show it, but not just every dungeon, but areas effected by a cutscene will have an NPC talk about it. Like after backtracking in Maribel, but after the Cielo cutscene, the Embrion guard who saw it back at the base will update you and sweat over fucking up on his watch.
It's all the little details that really make this game special.

You should have probably specified you meant Digital Devil Saga, I was thinking "Wait, Romancing Saga?"
Well, it's a MegaTen thread.
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…The prince portraits puzzle can go fffffffuck off.
Thank you for your time.
Nocturne HD slated for May 25th release according to a Nintendo of Europe eshop press release.
So my parents actually encouraged me to spend my stimulus money to help the greater economy (how often does that happen, eh?), so I have finally put in an order for the original Devil Survivor! I found 2 good but not great, but I've heard 1 is a lot better, at least story-wise. Can't wait!
Sweet, in addition to the release date, Nocturne HD has been rated for a PC release by ESRB/PEGI.
By "original," do you mean the original DS game?
Nah, the Overclocked version. So technically, the remake of the original.
Lucky you get to start with the version that borrows some of 2's QoL features. I have no idea how the superboss was beatable in the DS version without the compendium.
Oh neat, Chiaki's last name on the website is Tachibana instead of Hayasaka, that might mean some of the character name restrictions aren't a problem anymore.
x4 Hope you have fun! The Overclocked version of Devil Survivor is definitely a major improvement over the original game, which is also fun.

Thanks! I’ve heard this one has a TON of alternate paths, including what I’ve heard called the franchise’s most sympathetic Law rep, at least until SJR let you un-brainwash Zelenin.
Being, well, a Megaten player, I want to try ALL OF ‘EM!
As someone who has played Overclocked (but not any other non-Persona SMT games), the eighth day for the Law route does end pretty sweet on the Bittersweet Ending scale.
The original Devil Survivor was my introduction to Shin Megami Tensei as a whole and was also the game that inspired me to try out Strange Journey, so that game has a special place in my heart.
Really happy about Nocturne on pc. We're finally going to be able to get mods to fix the lingering audio issues and whatnot and have the truly definitive version of the game.
I'm still hoping for some Shin Megami Tensei V news soon.
Atlus pricing this at 229 BRL (currency in my region) is Square-Enix level bad lol. Oh well, glad it's still going to be on PC.
What do you mean? Is it a dead project?
