A Game of Gods: A Multiversal Challenge

"It is..." Narumi said, looking at the fight. "Allow me to join." Narumi said, whipping out his Skull Memory.

SKULL!

"Henshin." Narumi said as he inserted the Skull Memory into the driver and activated it.

SKULL!

The armor of Skull formed over Narumi. He then pulled out his Skull Magnum and started to fire at the wyrm.

The immense dragon tumbled end over end as it plummeted towards the ground, roaring as blood and ichor fountained from its damaged leg. If it struck the earth at this velocity, the impact would no doubt prove utterly fatal.

Yet the wyrm did not have wings for no reason, and while it could no longer fly due to the restraints placed upon it by its Kin masters, gliding was another matter entirely. It flared its massive wings, which billowed and swelled as they caught the air like the sails of an ancient mariner's ship, and it lurched as its speed and momentum decreased drastically. The wyrm descended in a gently turning spiral, roaring in lament for the skies in which it had once flown and in which it would never soar again.

Then something curious happened; it cross over the perimeter of the colosseum and passed briefly over what lay beyond, and suddenly it vanished, a trail of sparkles being the only clue to show that it had ever been there.

"...Most unusual," Dis Baba said at length. "That doesn't normally happen."

Spriggan lowered his G36K after checking his magazine to see that he still had a lot of ammo left.

"Um...that was sort of alarming."

Easing back into life one step at a time

-at that moment there was an intense humming sound, and a vast white portal exploded into being-

"Fire Dragon Secret Technique: Lotus Fire Phoenix." Natsu had finally built up enough fire to blast the thing... but then it disappeared. "Oh well." He shrugged and his flames instantly put itself out, his features returning to normal. "I wanted to test myself against a being like you..." He then regarded the portal with interest.

Eta lounged in the Amphitheater, picking his perfect white teeth with a bone. Behind him was a mountain of bones that looked reptilian in nature along with scraps of metal... "Meh, I'll give it a 30 out of 100. That's what I get when I get poorly tenderized meat." Eta sighed, conjuring a flagon of wine to wash down the flavor of wyrm. "Fast food may be fast, but it's not best. Food that has aged or very fresh is best..." Eta licked his lips. "Flavored with spices is good too... Especially humiliation, that makes the meat have more flavor..." He watched the proceedings eagerly via mouth screen portal.

The Doctor looks at the portal. "Well there's the next challenge. Do the computers say what it is yet?"

"They never say what it is," Ravage growled. "We always go in blind." The Predacon sighed as the Common Room returned to its basic specifications—a small, grey cube of a room with no fixtures or features beyond the portal. "Let's get this over with..."

And with that, he strode up to the portal and disappeared.

Dis Baba examined the apperture curiously, circling it without drawing near. "Most fascinating."

Hahli entered the portal, shooting a quick sidelong glance at Vezon as she entered.

Rey rubbed his temples again, but followed after Ravage silently.

Naoto walked up to the portal pocketing her pistol. "This challenge did not give us much time to rest." She said as she stepped through to whatever awaited them.

-Eddie entered the portal without a word-

Gordon took a deep breath before walking into the portal. Blink cheerfully teleported into it.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Raz righted himself and strode through the portal.

"So what now?"

Spriggan silently slinged his G36K over his neck and right shoulder.

"Huh? What happened?" Clubs asked. He walked through the portal.

Narumi pulled out his Gaia Memory, canceling the transformation as he enters the portal.

The Doctor strolls into the portal and whistles.

Spriggan sighed. "Maybe I can get solo practice later..." He went with the Doctor through the portal.

Vezon raised his head blearily, as if awakening from a thousand year slumber to a hangover. He saw people going through a portal. He promptly leapt onto his hands and feet, scrambling through the portal at all speed.

-the champions feel a solid floor beneath their feet as a binding light shines into their eyes. The first thing they hear is... loud applause-

-as the light subsides, they find themselves on a stage surrounded by cameras, before a huge audience. On the stage is a huge screen, a giant wheel with all their names inscribed on it, and a grinning host◊-

"Welcome... TO BLIIIIIIIND DAAAAATE!"

Ravage blinked, then growled low in his throat. "Oh, you have got to be slagging kidding me..."

Raz glanced at the surroundings."Oh, god dammit."

Gordon shook his head, and blinked a few times. He was, of course, trying to make sure he wasn't hallucinating. It took a good few moments to sort that particular explanation out.

When he'd fully adjusted, the first thing he said was in a completely flat tone.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me."

Blink looked around, curiously.

"Huh? Wow.... we're on a TV show of some kind! Err... I never really wanted to be on a TV show, 'cause that'd be really bad 'cause people might recognize me..." she said. "But I guess it'll be okay since this isn't my home universe!"
