I'm glad my work has inspired others. As you can see I've done two and I have others planned but other people helping would lighten my load.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!I'm happy to voice any of the female characters. But probably not more than one in the same strip, because it would be too obvious.
Bweh, I didn't know that was you.
Wow, small world.

Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.I'd also like to do any female voices. Preference for Sister America, but I really wouldn't mind anything. :)
I am what I am, nothing more, nothing less.Hmmm. You don't get on Vent, and I haven't seen your past work, so... maybe you could send in an audition?
Yeah, that sounds good. Pick a line from who you'd like to be, record it, upload it to the web, and post a link.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Or she could sign onto Vent.
That too.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.I'm working on developing voices for a variety of characters, I'm currently working on the Drama Bear Strip so I have a solid voice of Norway and Iceland.
Oh, and since Denmark's voice was accomplished by the magic of Audacity and trying to go really high (I'm deep in the Bass range), having someone else with a higher voice do him would be a blessing.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!Ah, at the risk of sounding very much like a n00b, I must inquire... What's Vent? :P If it's relatively idiot-proof I'll give it a shot on there. If not, I'll just You Tube-ify it.
I am what I am, nothing more, nothing less.I'll play Sister Canada! :D
Ventrilo is an online chatting program. I'm not to familiar with its exact use, so you probably should ask Ironeye about it.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.I could possibly provide a voice! I can pull off a sorta boyish voice and a freakishly adorable one too...yeah.
Real Life rwby roseAnd a freaskishly adorable boy voice is exactly what we need for Denmark.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!Eh, I don't picture Denmark sounding like Jinxed at all.
Now, Sister Denmark...
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.I figure Sister Denmark has to sound pretty boyish anyway, or France would have cottoned on faster...
I'd offer to do voices (I've got a very malliablke voice, and my accent is pretty neutral), but I don't have a microphone or anything like that.
I'd probably do America well though, I can be quite a ham.
If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.Hey, if anyone wants to hear a sample of my cutesy voice and normal talking voice just go to the vocaroo audio thread thingy. I was bored and having fun with a mic. Yeah.
EDIT: Okay This is the "moe attack" one where I am using my supposedly moe voice. This is the normal voice one. Where I talk normally. According to English Ivy if I talk in a low monotone I do sound like a boy.

Real Life rwby roseI just applied, thanks for notifying me of this Karalora.
I now have incentive to stop putting off Drama Bear... But I still have no idea how I'll voice Iceland.... I'll wing it!
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!I had the idea that anyone who tries out should let the people in this thread hear their audition before they send it in, for general pointers.
Having heard Thnikka's auditions for America, Norway, and Sweden, here are my suggestions:
- Practice the lines until you can get them to sound smooth and natural. You sounded way too much like you were reading from cue cards, including awkward breaks in the sentences.
- By the same token, don't just use your normal, flat voice. Put some personality into the roles.
- You should probably submit more than one line per character. Pick a strip that each character has a big part in and read the entire part. (Don't worry about not having the other sides of the conversation filled in—voice actors have to do that all the time.)
- E-nun-ci-ate. Remember that a large proportion of your audience will not be native English speakers! They might not understand you if you don't speak very clearly.
- In particular, I think you should try to give America a bit of a Texas accent, simply because the international fans will expect it. (If they ever call for female roles, I plan to emphasize my California accent for Sister America.)
I've done it, Drama Bear is complete!
I think you went a little overboard with the electronic alteration there, AC.
What electronic alteration? All I did was make my voice higher for Denmark. Besides the sound effects in the beginning, it's au naturale.

When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!I had the volume low; maybe that's why it sounded weird to me. In any case, you went a little overboard with the pitch extremes.
Alright, this is an idea that I've been bouncing around Vent chat and I think we should do this.
First off, if you haven't heard of Scandinavia And The World, check it out. There's quite a few fans of it on TV Tropes, and I'd really like to try this. Anyway, if you're interested, post that you're interested and, if you know, who you'd like to be.
Also, I don't know what comic we should dub, so suggestions are welcome.
