There was a dual crack as the rounds struck home. Pyrrhus let off a quiek cry and a grimace - apparently both his arms and his crossbow had been either broken or cracked from the overclocking just now.
Yet there was no time to recover. There was just no time to recover. He had to be there, to fight, to be part of this wonderful victory, to breathe the air of battle and to break out the trophy of war.
He reached for his Dory and aimed it straight at Dimitri's floating form. If his arm was to become derelict after this, so be it.
"Did you see that, fool? Did you see that?" he exclaimed, wheeling his entire body back to gather momentum. "THE DAY IS OURS!"
The moment his Dory left his hand for Dimitri was also the moment he heard another CRACK on his right arm, followed by some excruciating pain in said arm.
No matter. The glory of victory alone was the best anaesthetics. And there shall be firework, regarless of whether his weapon would connect or not.
At that point, Wreck-Gar's surprisingly sensible advice fell upon deaf ears...

Dimitri heard Wreck-Gar's shout to the others...... and he grinned.
"...Screw you, Wreck-Ga-"
Subaru's superpowered punch struck, along with Pyrrhus' spear. The spear shattered the glass bubble housing his head, and Subaru's Vibration Shatter, an attack that works incredibly well against cybernetics, connected with his face, utterly vaporizing him. There was nothing left afterward, except bits of metal and broken glass falling to the ground far, far below.

Spriggan moved in to check the area on the ground where glass from Dimitri's glass bubble were found.
He knelt down, propping the MA5B while checking them out.
"He's history."
He stared at the ruins of the TGS complex and closed his eyes while his SOLAG glove on his left hand crushed the bits of glass.
"I just hope he doesn't come back."
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"
Shirou sighed, his shoulders sagging. "Finally..." he smiled, not even bothering to crush the glass at his feet. "But Wreck-Gar is right...for some reason...We really should go find those devices..."
He turned to gaze at the proud - but weary - faces of his allies...his friends. "But let's take care of that another time. I think we all need some rest after today..." he chuckled, remembering how today was supposed to be a day of rest. So much for that.

After her attack connected Subaru continued forward, scating back around to head for where the others were standing. As she reached the ground, she hopped deftly down and dispelled the path, her eyes scanning around for a particular face.
She found it, and immediately started forwards, her steps gaining speed until she practically threw herself at Shirou, once again grabbing the sides of his head with both hands and pulling his face down for a deep, feirce kiss.
Her amber eyes closed tightly as she pushed herself in close to him, and she poured all her relief, her pride, her elation, her love into that one action.

Spriggan went to the lobby and slinged the MA5B behind his right shoulder.
He found a TGS teddy bear that Subaru had found a while ago. For some reason, the combat specialist took it with him outside.
If anyone was near the ruins of the lobby, they would see that Spriggan had held the white teddy bear by its chest.

Crona watched as Dimitri vaporised before all of them with a sense of satisfaction. Soon though, staying up became too much for the teen. His/her wings fully melted to blood that fell to the the ground as Crona fell with them.
Seeing Crona falling, Mike Jones attempted to catch them. "I've got ya! I've got ya!"

The rainstorm began to peter out. Soon, the rain had completely stopped, and the clouds began to disperse, little by little, slowly revealing the night sky underneath.
"Assault Form."
Fate landed beside Selvaria as the soldier walked towards the group; her flames were out once more, and her compact lance and shield slung on her back. She sported burns on her scarred face and her shoulders, but she remained standing, a proud smile on her face. "Well done, everyone."
Fate nodded in response... then soon after, she wobbled on her feet and was forced to use Bardiche as a walking stick to keep herself steady. "......That last spell took a lot out of me..." When Crona fell from the sky, Fate moved to try and catch her - and she was rewarded by her legs buckling from fatigue, falling to the ground herself...

Jack pulled himself up in time to see Subaru kill Dimitri, leaving Wreck-Gar's advice unfulfillable. Ugh. Okay, the guy was an asshole and a dirty sleaze, but we could've used his weakness to our advantage, goddammit! Am I the only sensible person here?
"Thanks for the ride, Wreck-Gar," Pyrrhus said to his companion. "I would be grateful if you can let me down now."
Taking a quick pause, he the continued, a sense of guilt overflowing his speech.
"... It seemed that in the end, being a restless soldier who would jump at the chance to make the difference is still my greatest strength... and my greatest enemy."

"Yipee-ki-yaeee!" Engineer cheered, once again doing a little dance.
He then hopped off the tank as it stopped, looking around, like Subaru, for one particular face, but for a very different reason.
"So Selvaria, long time no see" he said, walking up to the Valkyrie and smiling lightly at her. "I didn't know you could do things like that" he added, moving to catch Fate.

Mike managed to catch the falling meister and get showered in black blood. Crona winced from the pain in his/her burned legs.
Not caring about the black blood on him and realising the pain Crona was in he shouted to Engineer, "Hey, where's the dispencer, this person needs healing!"

Shirou's eyes widened from surprise, genuinely not expecting this. A part of him still felt terrible, though - Sakura was right there, and now that he had become aware of her feelings for him, he'd wanted to break this to her a little more oh my god, when did Subaru get so good at this? He didn't know it was possible for a person to do that with their tongue, but he decided it was probably time to stop asking questions.
Revolver Knuckle didn't feel particularly good on his cheek, but he reinforced it ever so slightly to take the edge off of the pain. He patted the gauntlet gently, hoping she'd get the hint, while wrapping the other arm around her waist. This truly was the perfect way to end such a terrible, heartrending day.
"Senpai! I'm so gl-" Sakura stumbled for but a moment as she saw Subaru capture Senpai's lips passionately...and he returned her affection as if it were so natural. Her mind froze, but her body kept moving, a finely-crafted plastic smile replacing her previous elation. She hung back a few feet, waiting for the kiss to end. "I-I'm so glad you're alright, Senpai..." she said, unblushing. She clasped both hands behind her back, hiding her barely-noticeable trembling.

Wreck-Gar set Pyrrhus down on the ground, not taking his eyes off of maria. He fixed her with an angry look.
"So give him a chance to calm down and be non-crazy instead of killing him and making sure there's a bunch of mind control toys somewhere that some other bad guy can find!"

Aqua motes of light collecting around Subaru's fist as she closed in on Dimitri's dazed form. The gears around her wrist accelerated and whirled until they were no longer vissible, and an oscilating set of Cyborg Skill-Circles appeared around her arm.
This is for Shirou, this is for Crona, this is for Keith, this is for Fate... Her expression sofened slightly as she saw Dimitri's crazed expression in the last few seconds before impact. ...This is for you.
She brought back her fist and sent it smashing forward.
" SHATTER!"
