Only if you count the midwest as the everything-in-between region of the US that runs between Ohio and South Dakota. I never really understood that.

Which is funny, considering one of the guys running for mayor went to my high school.

As did Donald Rumsfeld, despite being a born Evanstonian. So I'm glad we don't have to claim him.

Have gotten back from Anime Detour. Have a few pictures of the TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life panel. Will share when film is developed.

Notably, this group of tropers much more camera shy than the Chicago meet up, with the exception of the panelists.

Oi. Me and Fi would love to meet up again soon, at least with the Chicagoans. I'll get at those of ya'll I already know later, but I suppose anyone else can come who wants to and go ahead and throw out ideas if you want and we can try to keep everything coordinated through this thread.

Funny, I was thinking about suggesting we get together, too. I'm kind of busy this week, but after that, it should be good.

well my weekends are always flexible. I'm blanking on actual stuff to do though.

I find just wandering about can be entertaining. Especially if we went wandering around a particularly shifty neighborhood after 10 P.M.

...Only kidding. At least about the shifty neighborhood.

AJB, yeah, I don't have a car either. Don't usually need one seeing as I live in the city, but from time to time, it can be annoying.

Okay, obviously we should meet again. Thorn and Fiacha have both told me they like the Zoo idea: It's free, and open, and hopefully the weather will be good so we can wander and be a nuisance for cheap and a hopefully low probability of civilian injury.

As far as I'm concerned we can do this as soon as next Saturday, as long as enough people say they can come.

Otherwise, tell me when you think you'll be available, and I'll handle the details. I expect this will be mainly Chicago folks. But if you think you can make it, by all means do so!

I believe that next Saturday will be a good time for me, where should we all meet?

I was gonna google maps it up for a good location, I haven't been there for a couple years. Suggestions would help though.

I'm available most freely on Fridays, or after May 20th (as of now). However, I would need to find transportation.

Lee says that he's available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1-10 P.M. this week.

He also said we should meet up in a sketchy neighborhood. But Lincoln Park Zoo is fine. XDD

Oaky did a bit of research, Lincoln Park Zoo is the free one, and the nearest trains station is Armitage on the purple and brown lines, so everyone plan accordingly. info here
