(I'm not sure where this really belongs, so I'm putting it in YF for now. Mods, feel free to move it to Forum Games if you think it fits better there.)
The point of this thread is to list your favorite tropers and say what makes you like them so much. Please be specific; we already have Gushing About Shows You Like if you want to gush about TV Tropes or the Forums in general.
EDIT: Chopped the list because it's now quite outdated, and there are some comments in here that only made sense back in 2009 and may have even been a bit creepy.

Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.I said your first posts, not your first post.
Y mejor no hablemos sobre como accidentalmente te convertiste en un pedófilo a los ojos de los usuarios, okay?
DeadThanks, guys.
An useless name, a forsaken connection. How the shit am I able to understand your posts. They are in spanish. Yo no habla espanol desde yo habe seis años.
Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit.EH? Pedófilo?
See? Denial again!
Dead¿Qué rayos te pasa?
... And that is why we all love vandro so much.
He is one of my favourites tropers, he is so entertaining
DeadTambién you used habe seis (haber), it is tenía (tener) seis.

I didn't know the proper word, and the dictionary didn't give me much to go on. I wasn't kidding when I said I haven't spoken it since I was six.
Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit. And let's not forget vandro's very first contribution to the wiki:
Ese es el espíritu, Noimporta!
DeadHey! Me acuerdo de eso. To'avía no era regular.
So this is an ancient rivalry?
And better than thy stroke; why swellest thou then?secuestro de espanol, ¡el lol!
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuAncient rivalry implies any hint of real enemity.
I meant between you and him.
And better than thy stroke; why swellest thou then?Oh, no, he just wanted to complain in my Troper Tales page, he wasn't even in the forum at the time.
...Tropers can have their own Troper Tales sub-pages?
Noimporta made that one as some sort of gag. It became the Unbuilt Trope of describing oneself in the contributor pages.
>What.
