I remember people telling me it was gonna be the next Naruto or Bleach. I don't think it even managed to be Fairy Tail tier.

I like it, I just didn't keep up with the manga between chapters 203 and the last five. Its still enjoyable to read. The anime's only sin was the censorship of certain elements but it wasn't awful

Wait if Plue's nose works why not use Natsu and Wendy earlier to at least pick their fights properly. The whole "completely split up" was dumb to begin with, should've Lucy-Gray-Juvia and Natsu-Wendy go together or something, and Erza basically has a portable Wendy herself.

Yeah. Well Grey did seem sure he could take a weakened Mira. I get the feeling Mashima just rushed it. Still it seems Grey got his ass kicked even if he won. As for how they divided themselves up, recall that Natsu ran off right away without giving them time to figure out how to spread out. Not that it changes that it's just Mashima not thinking it through I suppose.

Natsu's a big boy, he can handle himself unless he holds back or gets hit with hax, plus he totally deserves an ass whooping once in a while for actually being cocky unlike Wendy, then just have Wendy support either Erza or Team Gray. Though I think at this point Mashima is really just more interested in Edens Zero than this or at least this arc in particular.

Beyond that, the usual stuff from this series. The mood whiplash from Eden's Zero is in fact noticeable.

Man dragons are just freaking unfair in terms of magic resist. Granted I doubt even a DS would have fun dealing with Treezilla here. Also it's funny how that beam spam hit no FT members.

Oh and we get a look at some locals for once, Russia themed Magic Council huh? About as successful too.

Dragons seem to straight be the strongest beings this series, with demons coming up behind them and Gods kinda sucking.

Is Natsu finally going to live up to his title and actually slay a fucking dragon?

Acnologia? Yeah it was with help, but he technically did.

Acnologia killed himself because he was too dumb to remember he was missing an arm. Natsu was just lucky enough to be there when it happened.

Ok, that's spiteful, and I know it but the whole thing was dumb.

You'd think that Natsu being an Etherious Demon would counteract Acnologia being a Magic Dragon Slayer.

Chapter out. Really, we're doing this again? It's a cool power and all but we just fought each other. As long as Happy gets punched I guess lol.

Wonder if it's the strongest person you know or the strongest bond you have with someone. Happy-Natsu, Gildarts-Cana and the other FT members-Makarov. The army of Makarovs looked pretty funny though, I must say.
