If they ever put Turning Red as a world in a future game, they'll have to re-write the copyrighted names since the movie takes place in Toronto, like maybe instead of the SkyDome, it could be called "The Stadium".

Turning Red won't feature as a world but a giant red Panda summon is definately possible.

whatever they do with Turning Red, i really hope they finally address 9/11

nah the kh crew can't be in turning red anime wasn't popular back then.

Also wasn't there a TV series in production for Disney+? Did they quietly cancel it for the same reasons on the earlier attempt (in keeping consistency with the game series)?

I think the television show has been in development hell since around the time Kingdom Hearts I was the current game. It's just that the storyboard for the Aladdin episode was shared recently.

One of the people who worked on the pilot uploaded an animatic to their YouTube channel a few years ago until Disney nicked it, so I've heard.

Reynatis isn't connected at all. It isn't even being made by Square Enix, but by FuRyu (publisher of games like Legend of Legacy, Alliance Alive, Monark, and Trinity Trigger). People have just been comparing it to Square games because of its aesthetics, it's set in Shibuya like TWEWY and KH4, has rival male and female protagonists kind of like Versus XIII was going to have, several key roles are filled by people who worked on FFXV and KH (Yoko Shimomura, Kazushige Nojima, and Yusuke Naora), and the game's director has said he grew up with KH and took inspiration from it.

So let me get this straight, Kingdom Hearts III is actually the end of the FIRST story arc?

You should see the timelien of DC and Marvel. People that saw them when they were as old as KH is now are probably now in Nursing Homes.

By the time the series is over we will probably be as old as Master Xehanort.

"Hey grampa, look sora defeated [enemy name here]."

"This series went down hill when kairi was turned into a villain."

"Who's Kairi grampa?"

(Tears in eye) "I hope you like long stories."

By then we'll probably have infinite lifespans anyhow.

If it lets me play more Kingdom Hearts, then so be it.

I would rather not.

I just hope Maleficent redeems herself from Team Rocket level gag villain in the next arc.

I’m starting Kingdom Hearts Final Mix on PS 3, gonna start getting “defeat final boss” trophies in both HD collections on my new PSN account.

Then I’m moving on to the PS 4, including the 2.8 one and Kingdom Hearts 3.

I swear that dude looked like a dripped up Persona-esque Yozora

I fear that they will drag out these stories so much and people will lose interest either due to taking too long to tell them or put off by the increasingly bad convoluted twists. This will only make the filler feeling Disney worlds MORE fillerish.

Oh, but I won’t bother with “Re Chain of Memories”, I never could beat that game and its stupid “card based gameplay”, not even the original on GBA.

Unfortunately, yes. I will not be surprised if get another canon side story game where Sora (or any of the side characters) have to ride go carts. It will also turn out to be an elaborate play of the main villain to get the heroes' darkness or something.
