No its gonna happen at once after 900 missions
So, what type of ship would the Roxas and Xion ship classified as?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.A gummi ship.
A submarine. It thrived while both character were effectively dead, i.e. when most other ships would have been considered sunk.
So apparently there's some old info that got translated recently
- Kairi's haircut in KH 1 is indeed a homage to Utada like many people guessed. Might be safe to say it's true of her other designs as well
- Wakka was supposed to be Irvine originally but he couldn't make him fit with the tropical island theme
- Aerith was supposed to be Aya Brea before the staff convinced Nomura otherwise.
there's a lot more if you're curious

KH is now forever trash because this didn't happen.
The illustrations Nomura did for the original Kingdom Hearts are really some of his best work, they really capture a lot more Disney-whimsey then his later work.

I would be lying if I said the Disney characters caught in some grade-A anime bullshit wasnt a big draw for me. Donald busting out a self-sacrificing Zeta Flare (which should be the single strongest FF spell we've ever seen) was a huge highlight for me. In the same game where Sulley has a long comedic number with Vanitas, aka Sora doing his best Sasuke impression.
It's definitely something that's grown on me over time. I didn't used to care much about them (and I still don’t know them too well outside of this series), but seeing them in these weird, dramatic situations that they wouldn't normally be in and actually pulling it off? There's something to be said about that. I can see where it'd be off-putting for some people, and some parts are still super awkward (Sephiroth’s name in Donald’s voice, anyone?) but when it's done well, it's quite memorable.
Especially in III where the main trio's banter was probably the best it's ever been. I usually found it awkward or cringy in other games, but this one made them really feel like good friends. Also, Donald and Goofy basically being Sora’s dads in some of the later cutscenes (like the bit before Sora goes after Riku and Mickey without them) was really sweet. I never knew I wanted that dynamic but I'm so glad it's there.

Disney is vital to the Kingdom Hearts identity. I just wish any game past the first did anything meaningful with it.
We will get our new Re:MIND trailer next week!
Additionally, Nomura graced us with a short comment.
Spoilers for Union Cross inside. Seems like we're getting to know the Master of Masters' backstory. Also Brain is meeting with Ava. Was that when he was chosen? In that case, he wouldn't be the one who killed Strelitzia.
In October, we'll be getting four story missions for Union Cross. There are some "crazy" changes coming. Nomura gives the hint: "Double Feature".
Additionally, Nomura was approached to work on a "third line" of Kingdom Hearts. So, something in addition to the main series and the χ-series? Could it be connected to Verum Rex?

Check out my YouTube-channel, if you wantIf it's not cheesy, mildly cringy and completely sincere, it's not Kingdom Hearts.
