Doesn't matter to me. Expecting a game to be exactly KHII was out of the question and expecting that much is foolish.
Plus from what I recall, Limits acutally never had invincibility frames unless it was strike raid. Sephiroth proved that to me by breaking through Limit forms limits all the time.

I really don't think so. It was well within reason to expect that a game in development for, like, a decade was as polished and clean as it's predecessor.
We know that a game like that could be made and improved upon. They just didn't do it.

It was never in development for a decade. It was 5 years at best.
Its also the first time Osaka team worked UE 4, too, and they had training from Epic games to work with it.

Also, it's totally reasonable to expect this game to just as good (if not better than) II—Osaka's just incompetent.
At least FFVIIR wins out for getting II's battle director.

It's getting very good reviews at least; lots of 80s and 90s, which is comparable or better than II.
Though there is apparently one significantly negative review from Polygon, based largely on - say it with me now - the story being really confusing.
