I feel like the obvious solution is for Claire's dad to say her deadname in-universe, but the comic narrative doesn't pass that information on to us the readers.

He could also recognize her, go to say it, and get cut off by someone saying Claire’s name.

I don’t think Claire’s deadname appearing in a speech bubble over her dad’s head is out of the realm of possibility, as long as the comic makes it clear it’s not endorsing or approving of such use. For example, Claire could re-introduce herself and refuse to respond to the name otherwise. There’s still a story to tell here, and such things happen.

Did Eliot know she was attracted to him? Eliot is the type of person who often misses the blindingly obvious.

I mean, yes, she’s admitted it, but Elliott jumped on the friend thing and didn’t acknowledge the attraction. But I think he at least noticed it.

Edit: Especially since he immediately went and talked it over with Dora and Tai.

So did the comic forget that Winslow is a volunteer counsellor at those sessions May has to go to, or did I hallucinate that? Because it feels like it should have come up at some point when Winslow has come up in the last few months.

When they met, Roko was shown with the whole "romantic halo POV" thing.

He signed up to volunteer, filled in for one session, was pretty good at it, but then left with Hannelore when she went on her world tour. Seems like he must have quit that position at the time and hasn't gone back to it.
