She was just flipping her homework and Pintsize just happened to be caught up in it.

I mean, he's got the same blank smile on his face in the two panels you see him in before that and he hasn't moved.

That price sign is quite amusing.

Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.

I find Sam to be very annoying, but even if I didn't, Faye needs to shut this whole "painting business" down right now, and get Sam's father directly involved.

There's nothing illegal about Sam selling her art of her own volition and using Union Robotics as a venue for such.

I would certainly think that Faye and Bubbles would appreciate extra income from Sam using their facilities, but given that Sam is a minor her father probably does need to be involved somehow. Also, Sam should coordinate better with them. Basically, all this needs to be properly formalized rather than Sam just doing whatever she wants without consulting anyone.

See, I didn't think this was a "bisexual" haircut so much as Jeph doing his usual thing of starting a character with long hair and then giving them a significantly shorter cut at some point.

Do American schools not have craft classes? Because I'm pretty sure you learn how to properly use tools in them.

Even then you don't just give somebody a tool and tell 'em to go ham - you show them how it's done properly first and then you let them try it.

Safety first and all that.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.

american schools have them, but they aren't usually required for graduation so not everyone takes them

In fact, as I was bemoaning to someone who was passing around the usual "we should require classes for graduation in checkbook balancing, changing tires, relationships management, and how to file taxes" meme, many of these electives are being squeezed out by classes needed for testing, and many of the "academically advanced" students are completely out of luck because scholarships required advanced math, advanced sciences, AP classes, language classes... I had no spare room for electives in high school because most of my electives were required.

We had to take Applied Skills in Grade 8 so I had my chance to fail at sewing, woodwork and metalwork (and had already done so with the first to in Guiding) and pass because of cooking. I'm not American though, also I don't think we used that sort of saw.

I'm also not sure if it's a class she'd have access to yet at her grade level. Those are mostly high school classes, because nobody would trust kids younger than that with sharp blades and really hot things, especially not with the class sizes public schools cram in under one teacher's supervision.
