"Who's that hot THANG in the dress?" is still one of the my favorite npc lines from not just battle network but the entire megaman franchise. Especially since the npc portrait is the serious nerdy scientist and he's telling this to the "hot thang's" 11 year old kid lol.

That Navi in ACDC that wants my Big Bomb O for his Justice One J. Can I get another Big Bomb O? I don't really want to give it up despite getting something better.

You might be able to order the chip, too. But regardless, get Justice One. It's a good chip.

You can, but the Code is different which can be important for some people.

In that case I'd still argue that V (which you get from chip order) is a better code than O. Synergizes with Super Vulcan, Bubble Star 2, Doll Thunder 3, Hi Boomer, and a couple Elemental Dragons.

Plus it's Big Bomb. Not exactly a good chip anyway.

That's Black Bomb. Big Bomb simply blows up a 3 x 3 area.

I admittedly almost mistook it for Black (Bulk?) Bomb myself. Though the Black Bomb chip is better than Big Bomb despite being kind of gimmicky.

I am over the FlameMan scenario. Got 3 areas dealt with, then ran into DesertMan while my loadout (particularly the Navi Custom) was completely unoptimized. And of course I hadn’t saved since the fires started because I had no reason to expect any real danger.

That scenario was dark bro.

Lan almost killed his own dad because of Match.

I have two more Big Bombs, just not in O code. I guess I'm not hurting that badly if I trade it. Still, running a fluid folder is a must for Battle Network.

I've not been using Beast Out much because of the turn limit.

And yet Lan is willing to give Match another chance in the fourth game.

The kid is lucky Match was legitimately trying to reform that time, but he still should be telling the man to go !@#$ himself on general principle.

Match was still planning on something but his minion betrayed him at the right moment.

I very much prefer his Anime counterpart. Come to think of it, I prefer the Anime versions of the World three gang.

The OG WWW agents were the characters who benefited the most from the anime limelight, IMO.

That's because they (besides Match) don't disappear off the face of the Earth in the anime.

If Lan held a grudge, he'd show up in 4 as a tournament opponent and Lan would shank him in front of hundreds of witnesses.

The turn limit is kind of a non-issue. It refills quickly enough and you can always just Jack out to refresh.

I personally didn't use Beast Out much in my most recent playthrough because Battle Network 6 is trivial to break without even resorting to it. There are a lot of good chips in the game that are easy access. Virus chip drops also feel much higher than in 5 (the only other game I've had experience with) and you can get a good Folder going quite early.

I just want to know what Mr. Match told the parole board after the 2nd failed attempt at turning over a new leaf.

I mean, there's no proof that Match was brainwashed, but there's no proof he wasn't, and Anetta does kinda set a precedent too.

I was reading the manga as a kid and was completely shocked that manga Lan started as a juvenile delinquent who wanted to work with Mr. Match and WWW to the point of happily agreeing to hack his own school.
