Damn, it's a good time to be a Mega Man fan. Hoping to see Bass and Proto next game.
I was skeptical as all hell about Di VE.

How much time will have passed between the release of Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Zero/ZX Legacy Collection's official announcement video and its release? It could give us an estimate on when to expect another Legacy Collection.

One more Battle Network question for now. To fight the Omega Navis in 3, I need to have 5 stars (finish the game, get all standard chips, defeat Bass GS, finish Serenade's Time Trials and get all Mega chips). I have 81 Mega chips which means I'm missing Mist Man's chips since they're on White version and Punk. Is there any other way to get them without trades? I'm only going through this to fight Mist Man Omega and get his chip.
There one question: would you consider that Sigma fight with Omega in that cutscene in X4? because he act like a sadistic berserket, which for what I get is pretty much Omega characterization as "Original Zero"

I personally think of Omega as another AI designed to mimic what Zero was intended to be. I think his body was empty when Weil stole it, and he designed in Omega's AI. So no, personally i think Sigma fought Zero in that flashback, not Omega.

Though to make things interesting in this thread, I have this to ask: who'd win? Sigma or Omega?
because of my lack of knowledge of sigma, ill have to go with omega in zeros original body taking the win
On other hand, a good sigma manage to knockout Zero who was barely over agresive, hard to compare with this Sigma.

Personally i think in terms of raw power Omega would win, but Sigma has more experience fighting the real Zero and a tactical mind to back it up. Even if Omega won, Sigama could just take him over, i doubt it would take much effort, Sigma could have taken over X in the third game.

So i recently have been on a Archie Comics binge on Mega Man comics. WHY!!!!!!??? Why was this cancelled? This was so well written, Protoman's character especially.
Hopefully Mega Man 11 revives interest in the Franchise, i mean Sonic is in IDW.

Because Archie blew their load on a Capcom/Sega crossover that wasn't even remotely profitable so they had to give up their Sonic/Mega Man licenses.

I had heard that without the Sonic Mega Man cross over, the comic would have been dead, but i guess they tried way too hard to recapture the magic and profit of the crossover.
Still that crossover was fun for what it was.

memes aside, while it is a little bit of a bummer, I do understand that they need just a bit more time to make sure the collection is the best it can be. Better to release it a bit later than having to deal with folks yelling about, say, input lag or whatever.

So how do people see the relationship between Bass and Wily? It's seriously complicated, Bass is like that bratty teenage son who talks back at dad, while defending him when he's in serious danger and argues that robots do owe some loyalty to their creators.

As for Bass, North Wind does not permanently remove his aura. However, once he loses it he only brings it back after he uses one of his special attacks so if you make him flinch at the right time you can prevent him from ever raising it again.
If you're playing the Blue version the Folder Back Giga chip is a godsend for these fights if you're not a folder-building expert (neither am I for the most part).
