So uh... remember that post I made earlier?
yeah... it's way worse than the Alliance just attacking the Vulpera. Literal death squads of Draenei and Warlocks hunting them down and executing them with fire for supposedly being in contact with the Horde. There a deal of disbelief from this, because their way of seeming to make the Alliance Morally Grey and drive Vulpera to the Horde is so cartoonishly evil and overblown it's almost hilarious.
At least this basically hard-confirms Vulpera... I... guess?
Also, discussion around Derek Proudmoore has caused even more about Sylvanas to come into question. Specifically, her plan with his is to make sure his mind is "properly conditioned", and then send him home as effectively a sleeper agent to murder the Proudmoores in their sleep, casting further ambiguity on just how much free will the Forsaken actually have, especially with the venomous way she phrases it.

Really looking forward to the Blood Elf heritage armor. The chest, shoulders and gloves should go real well with the pants and boots I'm already using on my hunter.
While I don't like it at all, I would say it's somewhat expected after all the time the Horde has been massacring everyone with the Alliance doing nothing, and players of both factions complaining about that situation. Still, it's weird to have this after Anduin said something about "not wanting to kill hope". Especially considering players who only play Alliance won't ever see this. Anyway, where did you find that? I didn't find it in Wowhead.
Also... Good, Sylvanas. Way to prove to the Alliance that your people aren't mindless monsters that must be wipen out. Well, I guess that's how Katherine has the Rastakhan treatment and goes away to make room for Jaina.

I'm half expecting Sky Admiral Rogers to be behind this - war crimes seem to be right up her alley and she's never gotten anything more than a slap on the wrist for her warmongering.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Random postings on MMO-champion, I guess Wowhead doesn't want to talk about it until more of the incursion stuff is in. Admittedly we are only getting exactly half of a story, there's going to be a finale scenario that's not in and Alliance's version of the Vol'dun incursion stuff isn't in period.

Tehehe the amount of denial from Alliance players reacting to this is already glorious.
It's okay Allies, I know not having the sun shine from your arses 24/7 is new and confusing for you but you will get used to it eventually.
Well, it admittedly doesn't make a lot of sense... burning sentient creatures alive for enlisting Horde help in surviving the attacks of a third-party aggressor doesn't fit in with the MO of the Alliance as a whole. This is the role Blizz usually reserves for the Horde and Horde-adjacent (because they're also ugly) third-factions like the Venture Company. And yes, that it doesn't fit the MO is the reason why they're doing this, to take off some of that squeaky-clean mirror shine, but it seems too sudden.
Either this is the work of some rogue Alliance leader or faction, which is a cop-out because then they can just have Anduin banish that leader next patch and say the job has been done, or it is the Alliance as a whole and it feels super weird for the faction that's had the upper hand for the whole expansion, which just stormed the capital, killed an Emperor and crippled the entire Zandalari Navy, to resort to a tactic that feels like a punitive or gloating measure.
It's been fun.
You joke but multiple alliance and horde redditors said that same thing quite earnestly.

and As a member of the fandom, watching people doomsay the Horde's playerbase because of a furry race that's less fearsome than Tauren joining and being entirely sincere in it is hilarious.

I've always seen that a small but vocal number of Horde people have this idea that they're the "manly" faction fighting the "girly" Alliance since like always. I have no idea why.
But yeah I would be more than okay with the Alliance doing some shady crap but the Vulpera thing seems out of character.

This song needs more love. Its possible that we don't know the full story since this is all on PTR, but right now this seems like an attempt to correct the whole "morally grey" thing, but going way overboard in the other direction.
Its not just that though,. its everyones favorite toxic "yiff in hell" meme thing rearing its ugly bloated head yet again
Shit, one alliance redditor claimed it was doing the horde a favor by killing off undesirables.
tbh ill be even more annoyed if it turns out the alliance had "a good reason" for slaughtering a species

How very Garrosh of them.
Never really got the negative stigma furries carry beyond the shittier parts of that fandom/subculutre, everyone is kidding themselves or seriously delusional if they don't think any other fandom doesn't have its shitty parts.
My only issue with Blood Elven heritage armor is that those gems(?) are fel-green instead of blood-red, like in Spellbraker art. And the dress part of the robe needs minor tweaks, imo. But that is a minor issue.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson. It might be trying to call to Kael'thas, but I agree, it should be red or yellow, Blood Elves haven't been the "fel" race since BC, maybe Wrath at the latest, they're more about blood and light now.
Just hit level 120 on my Warlock, which makes 4 max level characters so far. I managed to push my ilevel all the way up to 326 in just one day thanks to the Timewalking event being active.
I got to admit, it's more than a little amusing to be questing through Drustvar on a female human Warlock. Absolutely no one mentions that you look exactly like some of the members of the Heartsbane Coven (down to using a transmog set that matches a few pieces also used by a few Coven members). I mean, sure technically the magic playable Warlocks use isn't the same as the magic the Coven uses, but it's also clear that prior to the refounding of the Order of Embers, most of the people in Drustvar have no idea WTF is going on and probably wouldn't be able to make that distinction.
This leads to a rather bizarre scenario when you first meet Lucille Waycrest where someone who looks like a member of the Heartsbane Coven and is clearly wielding dark magic is allowed to help absolve someone else of witchcraft instead of facing such accusations herself.
On a completely unrelated note that I feel is worth bumping the thread for, Blizzard has announced some upcoming changes to how Azerite items work with Mythic+
Here's the short version:
1. Azerite items will no longer drop from Mythic+ caches, instead caches will contain a special currency in addition to their current rewards. The amount you obtain in your weekly cache will increase exponentially the higher level. You will also get some of this currency by scrapping/disenchanting epic-quality Azerite items.
2. This currency can be used to either purchase a token that will generate a random Azerite item of a given slot and item levelnote . You can also purchase specific Azerite ilevel 385 items at additional cost.
Also for obvious reasons, only Azerite items obtained after the patch will yield the new currency when scapped/disenchanted. So please don't horde colossal piles of Azerite gear.
So according to Wowpedia, the six commanders for the Darkshore Warfront have been revealed. Spoilered, just in case.
Alliance: Malfurion (expected, and its nice to FINALLY see him firmly on the Alliance's side instead of an Extreme Doormat neutral like he was in Cata), Maiev (also expected, since the datamined Night Warrior arc ends with Tyrande appointing her the leader of the Alliance's efforts in Darkshore) and...Tess (Uh...what? Kinda random. I mean, I get that Genn obviously wants to support the Night Elves, but why not someone who we've actually seen to be able to fight, like Darius or Lorna?)
Horde: Nathanos (somewhat surprising), Forsaken!Sira, and Forsaken!Delayrn
Regarding the Alliance commanders, While from a story point of view Lorna might more sense as the non-Night Elf commander (and I think it's appropriate for there to be one of them), there might be other reasons to give Tess some more exposure. My estimations put Genn at the top of the list for Alliance leaders likely to not make it out of the expansion alive, and thus far the only thing of note Tess has done is her involvement in the Rogue Order Hall (which was only visible to Rogues minus a random Broken Shore World Quest).
Edited by Falrinn on Oct 19th 2018 at 12:00:54 PM
I'm betting Tess will take after her Hearthstone version.
This song needs more love.Well, guess that confirms the theory that Sira and delaryn were turned largely because the devs wanted a Forsaken warfront and utterly fucking forgot the forsaken have no notable lore heroes except nathanos and Sylvanas
Every character is a potential Forsaken character!

That wouldn't be a bad base for Gnomish heritage armor. Though I might prefer some more moving parts/mechanization.
Also, apparently the Blood Elf heritage armor has both robe and non-robe variants. Which honestly is something the game needs to do more of, especially with cloth gear. I think currently the only tunics added in BfA are a variant of the Kul Tiran dungeon cloth.
