And they are doing two episodes at a time, so they should catch up... eventually.
Man its gonna be a long time before we get One Piece Kai.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Promo for One Piece's return to Toonami.
I just heard an interesting theory that San Juan Wolf's Devil Fruit is the Zoan type Human-Human Fruit, Model: Giant. That would make him the one example of a person or animal eating the same type of Zoan fruit as they already are. Average Giants are roughly 10 times larger than average Humans, so the Giant Devil Fruit makes you 10 times larger. Wolf's regular size is average for a giant, 18 meters.
I just thought of another reason why Killer vs Hawkins was an inversion of Zoro's "Nothing Happened" moment on Thriller Bark: the whole set-up.
- Zoro willingly took his captain's damage, which was transferred from Luffy to him via Kuma's Devil Fruit.
- Killer unwillingly did damage to his captain, which was transferred from Hawkins to Kid via Hawkin's Devil Fruit.
This is on top of what was already mentioned when the Killer vs Hawkins chapter came out.

Wasnt there supposed to be a manga chapter today?
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Nope, break week.
Schedule is always wacky around new years because Oda's every-three-chapters breaks don't overlap with the usual Christmas and New Year's magazine-wide breaks.

You know, Luffy hasn't used Gum-Gum Storm since the timeskip. In fact, he only ever used it three times total: once against Crocodile to finish him off, once against Aokiji to no effect, and once against Oars while in Nightmare Luffy. I could see a Gear 4th version of Storm being the finisher against Kaido.
Gum Gum Storm would be a great way to defeat a Japanese-style dragon.
I guess Gum-Gum Storm is kind of an outdated technique compared to stuff like his King Kong Gun.
Disgusted, but not surprisedHe also used Storm against a bunch of mooks at Enies Lobby.
Random theory that hit me like a bolt from the blue today: the WG higher-ups didn't order Moria killed at Marineford because he was too weak to be a Warlord. What they actually wanted was to return his Devil Fruit to circulation. There seems to be a vested interest in Fruits that deal with immortality or eternal youth by the powers that be, such as the Op-Op Fruit and whatever Bonney's is, and Moria's shadow transferring-power enables an imperfect sort of Body Surf. And judging by Nightmare Luffy and Moria's One-Winged Angel form, it seemingly doesn't just work on corpses...
Also it can make zombies. Reanimating the dead is pretty close to eternal life.
You know that SBS that said how often the crew bathed?
- Bathes once a week: Luffy, Zoro, Brook
- Bathes every 3 days: Usopp, Chopper, Franky
- Bathes every day: Nami, Sanji, Robin
I think Jimbei would join Nami, Sanji, and Robin in the "bathes every day" group (mostly by default since he's a Fishman). As for other potential Straw Hats, of the two big candidates: Carrot and Yamato, Carrot probably bathes every 3 days and Yamato would be in the "bathes once a week" group.
Much as I'd love to see Carrot join, when was the last time she even appeared?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWe last saw Carrot with Cat Viper, after he beat Perospero. I don't really think she's joining at this point, but I felt it would be rude not to mention her.
Maybe that's why they're interested in the Gum-Gum Fruit.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI'll be bummed if Carrot doesnt join, honestly. She has a great dynamic with the group. Just for reaction shots alone, you get Chopper and Usopp freaking out while Carrot is just so excited.
Then again Vivi had good chemistry with the crew too, but she didn't end up staying.
Carrot seemed laser focused on avenging Pedro too.

She got on the ship because she wanted to see the world.
And she might have inherited Pedro's dream of witnessing/bringing about "The Dawn".
I'd be surprised if she doesn't join at this point, she's had too much build up to just walk away IMO.
The same can be said about Yamato. Yamato wants to see the world too.

I want Carrot to join, but I feel like Oda might've dropped her, and Yamato might've gotten some of the story potential Carrot would've had.
Also, by "when did she last appear", I mean what month/year?

The sad, REAL American dichotomy
It's as good a place as any, really. It's right after a time skip making it as good a jumping on point as possible without being right in the middle of one plotline or another
