exactly. something like this serves no purpose: "the entire soundtrack for So And So is amazing." it tells us nothing and requires one to go look for the song listing in order to get any information.
this, however, does:

the pages just need some cleaning.

Crowning Music Of Awesome already is that. Which is why it needs to be cut, except we can't because X OF AWESOME MY PRECIOUSSSSSSSSS.
I should have said, "Won't it turn into...." I feel like a page with the title SugarWiki.Awesome Music, which is supposed to be about context-awesome music in scores/soundtracks/etc., is going to need constant pruning of examples that are simply considered awesome music, even with a big entry header that says "this is only for x". Like Most Annoying Sound or something.

Have you read the page lately? It has not been restricted to context-awesome music for a while now. The entire music section is exactly what you just described.

Same problem with renaming Crowning Moment Of Awesome - it doesn't change the definition, it just makes the title more bland.
Change the rules about adding examples (as in, make it so that there must be a specific example in the entry), but don't rename it. Seriously. It will accomplish nothing. Just put a notice at the top of each page saying something like "This is for specific songs in a soundtrack, not for listing a whole soundtrack from a work. If any one song in the whole soundtrack would qualify normally, its own Crowning Music Of Awesome should be that much more awesome."

I disagree, as long as each song is properly linked so people can listen to it, I very much enjoy going through all the songs listed there. I would be very disappointed is that was hamstrung in the name of...what? "not letting people list as many things as they want on a Sugar Wiki page?"

I'm not saying "Don't list things that you want" should be implemented. I'm saying that putting "the whole soundtrack" should be frowned upon, due to the nature of the trope. Specific examples are fine, so long as they're actually, y'know, specific.
