Courtesyyyyyyy!

I know this trope was just launched but... really... this needs some organization. The page doesn't really know how it wants to be organized. Every section is organized differently, and the examples have wildly different format. Some focus on culture that are passed over, while the others instead note the ones that are, and others seem more like [[Non Sequitur}}s, though they're most likely comments directly from YKTTW.

I really don't make it sound as highly confusing as it actually is. I think the main thing is that there's no consistent way this thing is organized, which is what I think we should fix.

Also, inconsistent folderization. Confused the &^$%! out of me for a minute.

Bumping this back up. It's seriously confusing and inconsistent and doesn't really present a unified voice at all. However, I have no idea where to start fixing it.

This is something of a pet article of mine, but I've been putting off the reorganisation for ages because it's such a daunting prospect...

The information to be communicated is;

  1. Time period
  2. Brief list of cultures and events which are covered by Hollywood History, for an idea of contemporaneity more than anything else.
  3. Cultures and events which aren't usually addressed, with sub-bullets pointing out individual works which are exceptions to the rule.
  4. Really big events like the World Wars need to work more like time periods in their own right, since there's so much to be said about them. They're currently folderised, but it's not an ideal solution.

Was this ever acted on? If not, does it need to be in Big Projects?
