Japanese-Only PSone games coming to US Playstation Network

Yeah, really. So far the games that have been realesed have been:

• Cho Aniki
• Gaia Seed
• Magical Drop F
• Outlaws Of The Lost Dynasty

Any Japanese only P Sone games that you guys would like to see released over here?

• Policenauts
• Gradius Gaiden — I already own it on PS1 and PSP. Whatever, I'd buy it a 3rd time.
• Zanac X Zanac

I'd concur with Gradius Gaiden and I'd add:

• Gunner's Heaven/Rapid Reload
• Raiden Project (not actually Japan-only, but only has been released there on the PS Network)

Super Robot Wars Alpha, and pretty much all the SRW games in general.

They released Cho Aniki? Wow, that was on my "ain't gonna happen" list. O_o

I'd love to see the PS One remakes of the first two Shin Megami Tensei games released. Although... Are these games being localized at all, or just left as-is?

Actually, I do know one for the PS 1: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. although a jrpg is alot less likly for this to happen than an action-y game

Moon, an early release by the creators of Chibi Robo which plays like a combination of, well, Chibi Robo and Majoras Mask.

If LSD gets released, that will be a reason besides Team Ico Series stuff for me to get a PS 3, so... yes please!

The very first Cho Aniki, released on PCE/TG16, is already on VC. Although to be fair it's quite tame compared to the rest of the series.

Besides LSD Dream Emulator, it'd be awesome if they put the Serial Experiments Lain game and Sexy Parodius or Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius: Forever With Me on there. But they probably won't, unfortunately...

Well for Lain, there's a fan translation in the works (for emulators, of course), and you can watch most of the cutscenes on Youtube, subbed.

Because if they aren't translating any of these releases, I wouldn't expect to see any of the more text heavy games (like Soul Hackers) included in this.

Am I the only one who sees what a western release of Cho Anki means?

It means that right now, the AVGN has an easy way to review that game. Best, review, ever.

The Playstation Cho Aniki is pretty shitty but I don't really see a review of it focusing on anything that isn't HOLY SHIT THE GAYS.

All Cho Ankis were pretty bad. As a series, the gameplay was pretty on the meh side. Still, he's focused on more normal titles purely for the WTF ery (See Moonwalker). He doesn't have to be homophobic to say that being attacked by phallic symbols made of muscled up men is weird.

Tear Ring Saga(formerly known as Emblem Saga) would be interesting.
