Oh hey, I have a troper page now! Go do what tropers do to it! In other news, I want to learn a new champ. Who should I learn? I have every champion, so it is up to youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
Tv Tropes: my anti-drug. ....it's still an anti-drug if it's just as addictive, right?![]()
Malphite's a tank. Build armor items mainly, because one of your skill scale of it. Get some magic resist if you need it. Make sure to get some health, then your job is pretty much to get the enemy team attention, while your damage-dealers colleagues kill them. Basically, your goal is to be a bullseye. Your ult is a godly teamfights starter. That's pretty much all I know myself, I am not the resident Malphite expert.
Learn Trundle.
Choose again, I already play Trundle.
Both in jungle and top lane.
I accept your challenge.
Again, it depends. You'll learn when you can and when you can't. For example, an enemy carry could be lacking in farm, thus she's weaker, that'd be a relatively easy win. Some opponents will be tougher. I can't details all the possible match up, but I'd say that in general you can defeat AD carries (relying on auto attacks, which you can slow), maybe support, maybe bruisers. Enemy tank I dunno. I'm not a tank player myself, so I'm not quite sure.

Not much you can do about it. Normally they should notice themself, but then again, you'll meet kamikaze people everywhere, with varying level of consequences. You can point it out though. Try to keep it simple if you do, people are easy to feel offuscated in league. But I'm pretty sure you noticed that without my help.

Aela, what was that... and where do I watch the full thing?
Retreating as the initiator depends. Having a bucket of resistances like one would makes you more durable than your actual health points indicates. Thus, even having 15% health means you might last longer than the squishes - and as such, you should continue to draw the opposition's focus, especially if a turret's attacking you since everyone else would definitely get blown up.
But if you manage to get away with like, one or two autoattacks from the enemy carry to death, that probably won't cause much of a problem by escaping with your life and you can go heal to do that all again! But such a situation is, of course, difficult to maintain. I would say a good guideline to try to get away is if your initiation has lead to the death of the main source of DPS on the enemy team while yours is still alive. As long as the first person still lives, don't disengage because you can't be sure of how the teamfight will go until then. If your main source of DPS dies, you really can't leave unless it will obviously be a Total Party Kill if everyone stays.

What awful advice, here is what you should do, spam ping and tell them to uninstall when they die yet again. Tell them your father is Phreak and you'll know if they don't do it, talk in all chat to the enemy so they know you're actually good and it's just your teammates holding you back. If all else fails challenge the enemy that annoys you most to a 1v1, since obviously he/she is getting carried.
In all seriousness though, you should focus on improving your personal skills and help your allies by pointing out objectives such as dragon, pinging to retreat when the enemy has the upper hand and so on, like if the kamikaze isn't completely trolling they should fall in line once they figure out teamwork is better.
A lot of non-matched games have teams with no clear leader, even obvious plays may not be followed through if no one suggests it. I'm not sure if you're at the point where warding is widespread but at the very least set 1 ward by baron around 30 minutes if no one else will. Eventually you should reach the point that you depend on your allies as much as they depend on you.
A love that crushes like a mace.Malphite excels at shutting down opposing AD carries. His Ground Slam will lower enemy attack speed, and both Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen are common armor items on him that further do likewise. AD carries are the most dangerous damage dealers in the late game, and Malphite can turn them from machine guns into molasses throwers. Thus, your plan is to ult in, preferably close to the enemy carry, then hit Ground Slam and Randuin's Omen to cripple them. Then, if the enemy carry is low and your team stands a good shot of killing them, go ahead and use your Seismic Shard to slow them further for the kill, as dead AD carries usually means that team lost the fight in the endgame (they lost their main damage dealer). Otherwise, if the enemy AD carry flashes away and stays out, you can turn to peel off anyone trying to dive your own team's AD carry.
Malphite's magic damage output is actually higher than most people think. Randuin's Omen and Frozen Heart are often enough for your armor needs, so for MR a good choice that I've seen many Malphites build is Abyssal Scepter. Just don't build Thornmail on him; it's a trap!

The cow eats Fruit Loops at midnight. My team's Janna, always tank, alway die. Hue?
On the subject of Malphite: He was my most played champ when i was leveling up as well, cool! Can't go wrong with pretty much any tank item as he is so versatile, but i would build pretty much what mirrinius said. Shurelya's reverie, Randuins Omen and Frozen Heart are going to be items you want almost every game. Abyssal Scepter's a good choice for magic resist, Force of nature's nice but too expensive for him usually.
Other items you can't go wrong with: Sunfire cape, wits end, frozen mallet, aegis of the legion.

Well, second game jungling AP Amumu. Got a triple kill when we were killing dragon and the enemy team tried to take it.
