Oh hey, it's Guardians of the Galaxy/Borderlands skins time.
Confirmed skins for Jinx, Malphite, Yasuo, Kayn, Sona and Ziggs (who I didn't see in this video, but what do you know)
grahJinx is always the best. Always the best .
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984The voiceover for Kayn's skin is amazing. I'd shell out, but I already bought High Noon Lucian and there's only so much money I allow myself to spend on clothes for virtual dolls.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.K/DA music video
SHE LOOKS RLLY CUTE
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaAnd, by Word of God and character interactions, is gay. In case that's of interest to you.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I assumed she was frog-sexual judging by how she was bothering Gromp.
...wait does that mean Gromp is female
...I guess no one ever asked.
So they backpedaled on Le Blanc's rework just to make a champ that is basically her originally planned character kit...
I'm cool with this, better than scrapping an iconic play-style for something that is the character in-name-only *cough* Karma *cough*.
I might actually re-install LOL for a few rounds with her.

It's basically The Thing
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~Civiaalso revamped nidalee bio and short story
the illustration with the story has a design for her which is so much better than her current one
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaNot sure I dig it, but her current one is pretty crap yeah
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I heard Ashe found a second job at another company
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youBOB's right arm is just as strong as his left arm, though
I mean, probably. I don't actually know.
New champion reveal, Sylas the Unshackled
Looks like we're finally getting a new Demacian champion after a pretty big drought. Looks a little supporty, with an ultimate that is literally just stealing an enemy's ult and being able to use it on the enemy team. Could be fun to use.

Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.I eagerly await the Sylas meme-stealing memes.
Yeah, I was thinking it was a little odd that a lot of the Demacia pages were getting revamped. Now we know why, lol.
Also, special interactions:
He's got a British accent. And some pretty witty lines for fellow Demacians.note
Also, way to Kick the Dog with his line against Vayne. Saying her parents "had it coming." Ouch. Speaking of memes though, his lines for stealing some enemy ults mean the memes are already writing themselves.
Still, I hope his lore does more to flesh out Demacia and make it interesting. It's no longer the generic good guy in the struggle between it and Noxus, and they're dipping a lot into Light Is Not Good with its imagery and it being a xenophobic, very classist and mage-hating kingdom, but...I feel like maybe they went a little overboard with the revamp. In its current state, it doesn't seem so much as The Rival to Noxus as an insular piece of land that doesn't really interact with any of its neighbors in many meaningful ways. Noxus is at least egalitarian in its Social Darwinism and might makes right philosophy, but what does Demacia really have that redeems it?
A lot of the main Demacian characters still come off as a bit flat imo. Especially someone like Jarvan. I feel like he's a lot of missed potential. Maybe he'll get a chance to be an actual character soon. Maybe.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.Yeah, I agree with that. With everyone from Swain to Camille remarking on how insignificant Demacia is, they went from the good guy kingdom of justice to pretty much an isolated, xenophobic, irrelevant, bigoted backwater. Hopefully they reconstruct a bit.
And damn, Silas looks fun. AP bruisers are something the game needs more of, and his base kit alone seems fun as hell, never mind his ult. Prepare for some mighty spaghetti, though.
I wonder if he worked out solely by lifting his shackles up.
This Sylas fellow seems pretty cool. Not as refreshing as Braum, but i'll take it.
The Great Northern Threadkill.New cinematic is pretty fire. Awaken.
Highlights include seeing how Jhin's lotus traps work in lore (they're awesome and the particles look good), plus seeing Riven in action without her blade at first. Though she does kinda look like she's wearing way to much eyeshadow... That supposed to be some kinda war paint, or what?
The Ionians banding together to fight that invading force was pretty cool. Yasuo being able to create a tornado that size in lore is crazy, wow.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.Black paint around the eyes helps against being blinded by floodlights or the sun. Pretty apropos for someone fighting in a sand-filled arena.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Ah, that's cool. I never knew that. Good on Riot for that attention to detail; plus it characterizes Riven more as that straight-up brawler that she is. In general I like her design here, since it does a good job communicating that "vagabond" feel, with all of the dirt, tattered clothes, scars and all. I wish her current splash communicated that more; it's a bit too clean and pretty. That's a lot of criticism of Sylas' character design I've seen as well.
This could just be a What If? scenario like the previous cinematics were, but I wonder if this has anything to do with new lore direction? Riven going back to Noxus is odd considering since now she's pretty much cut all ties with the place.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.Yeah, I don't know that Riven ever had anything to do with gladiator pits in her lore. She went from a soldier invading Ionia to an outcast there. Also, she has a bit of muscle definition here, which is nice.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Report Draven, doesn't kite, instead walks into top lane's face
So... Riven got a lore update
Her father died in Battle
Her mother died giving birth to her
She was raised on a farm before she got shipped off to be a Child Soldier
She killed Yasuo's master on accident 'in fact It really wasn't her fault, She ASKED him to break her sword, the blade shattered and a piece stabbed the guy in the neck
apparently Yasuo was framed despite people higher up knowing this
Riven has no desire to return to Noxus and is living in Ionia
____
Swain got better looking
