Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou will air in Fall.
Aimi as Misha, Ikumi Hasegawa as Lene.

Damn, I imagined both characters to look differently based on LN.
Weren't there illustrations? Or was that the WN... <_>
Avatar SourceThere are illustrations, and the anime versions of the characters don't really look that different from how they're drawn in the light novel.
I missed them it seems.
Yeah I think that's about how I remember them looking. Misha's hair might be a little lighter.
I really missed the illustrations it seems, because I always thought they both had shorter and darker hair.

Yeah I think her hair was darker than that in the illustrations I saw, but the style is about right and the color is close enough.
I'm going to be honest though, I don't remember what Lene looks like.

Yup, Hino-san's finished now.
... I really need to go find things I haven't read. Shouldn't be that hard, I've not looked in like a year?
Avatar SourceI'm in love with the Villainess english sub trailer.
I'm really curious on how much of the light novels the anime version will adapt. I expect they will at least adapt the first arc in its entirety, but it'd definitely be great if they adapt everything.
I'm thinking the first two books... it's self contained, not THAT complicated and could be done in one season. They can save the rest for season two, assuming it happens.
Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellIt's not like it's that long of a story and, to be honest, I think they'll cut out some of the author's pro LGBT commentary, which pads out the story quite a bit. I would be surprised if they don't finish it in one season. And they might cut out some of of the more epilogue-y stuff like their kids unless they want to leave room for a second season.
Though on the other hand I also expect them to add in some of Claire's POV from those side stories so who knows?
That'd only be half-finishing the complete story.
Avatar SourceSequel is sequel! It would really need to have its own season. I feel like it's very much a distinct thing from the first part and trying to mesh the two together into one joint 24~ episode anime would feel weird. Too much for one 13~ episode anime too.
Though honestly I feel like the first part is surprisingly short.

You know, I saw people arguing 12-13 eps is no way enough to adapt the first arc.
MurciƩlago got referenced in recent Dead Mount Death Play episode. It also has a secondary lesbian character (M Cs "chef") but they toned down the scenes with her in the anime.
Added Hana & Hina After School to the site last night, if anybody familiar with the work wants to contribute. I'm new around these parts, so there are probably lots of tropes that could be added that I simply don't know about yet.
Hana & Hina After School is a yuri manga from Morinaga Milk, and is basically Girl Friends (2006) with the serial numbers filed off. Rife with Morinaga-sensei's usual brand of Gayngst and Will They or Won't They?. If you liked Girl Friends (2006), you'll probably like this one too.
I got dozens of friends / and the fun never ends / that is as long as I'm buyingTry not to write work descriptions like reviews, I think. Pretty sure that's not really describing the work (and is obviously too reliant on previous familiarity).
Avatar SourceSo noted. Will correct at my next opportunity (if someone else doesn't get to it first).
I got dozens of friends / and the fun never ends / that is as long as I'm buyingWhat yuri anime are we expecting for summer?

From a quick look, nothing, unless you count yuri-lite series like BanG Dream (I think, probably? Never watched it).
It's been fun. It's about what you expect from an idol franchise.
D 4 DJ introduced an actual dating couple in one of its newer units, though.
Wake me up at your own risk.X-posted from the Aoishiro thread in the Visual Novel forum
For those who missed it Aoishiro and Akai Ito are both out now on the Steam and Nintendo E-shops. Physical copies for Nintendo appear to be a Japan-only limited edition combo-pack with what appears to be 4-disc copies of the soundtracks for each game as well as both games.
Created a page for an annoyingly obscure LN series known as Girls Kingdom (the obscurity is annoying because it's so damn good, and I am so creating expies of the Kokonoe twins). I'll be crosswicking and starting the character page tomorrow, if anyone is familiar with the work (most of the tropes are character tropes, so it'll take a few days to get it all up to speed).
I'll also look over Hana and Hina After School at some point, starting with deleting the Yuri Genre listing (it's an index, not a trope and shouldn't be in trope lists). I have read it but it's been a while.
My troper wall
Yup. The height gap is very cute when it comes up properly rather than Hino just being... Hino.
Just read A Love Letter for the Marching Puppy. That wasn't bad, although I don't know what the point of the premise was. Maybe they just wanted to draw military uniforms?
I'm running out of things to read...
