Basically it means that they get their merch sold on the RT store, can collaborate with some of the other members of the RT family on streams and videos, might show up from time to time, stuff like that.

It's basically an umbrella network, similar to Machinima, Polaris, Normal Boots, or the Yogscast. They'll still have a wide berth to make their own content however they wish, but the network can provide services like legal support in the case of copyright claims, and they have an easy avenue to collaborations with fellow Roosterteeth members like the time they did a podcast with the Achievement Hunters.

Granted Kotaku will write articles on all sorts of arbitrary things, but if it gets more people aware of how crummy the Epic store is.
So with all these youtube clips about Woolie and Pat discussing Game of Thrones and its ending, I want to ask anyone here what they felt about it. My own exposure to the series was brief, through the Telltale game I played and felt disappointed by. Without any real investment in the show's quality or care for the franchise as a whole, I find that the reason for the decline comes to the showrunners being inferior writers to GRRM. I heard they don't believe themes matter, which is an issue for a work that relies on themes to tell the stories GRRM wanted. Even Telltale understood that when working on their game.
Oh, bother.
A big part of it is that the last season was rushed and had fewer episodes. There was a lack of proper build up for...well...everything.
