Scion: Aye. A few other factors helped a bit so I will be back to some semblance of balance in a few weeks.

Oh no, Tuef, that's so horrible!! And that bit about Phoebe looking for him :(. I remember when my dog got the verdict, I was several cities away and begged the vet over the phone to hold off putting her to sleep until I could get there and stay with her... but they wouldn't wait. I still have a grudge against that clinic.

Give the little one some love for me. And take care of yourself too.

Thanks, Taira.

Honestly, I needed rest more than anything to take the edge off of it.

Had to drop my math class. It was a hybrid kind of class where all the stuff was online but we did it in a computer lab classroom. The lessons on the modules were absolute fucking garbage. Not only did the lessons do a piss poor job of teaching the concept, but when we'd take the online quizzes or the exams we'd have questions that were not covered by the lessons or practice problems. After doing terrible I believe on our exam yesterday I just said "fuck it" and I'll retake it next semester. Only I will ONLY take a standard math class, not this "computer based learning" bullshit. I basically need to completely rebuild all my math skills; so this half-assed fuckery that was that computer math class ain't gonna cut it.

Yeah, I am of the mind that math is one of those courses that is better with a human assisting you to learn it.

...I accidentally stole a spoon from a local jazz bar. I've no idea how. I never ordered anything, but I arrived home and there was a spoon in my pocket.

Oh well. I have a new, quality spoon, I guess.

Ahem. Separate post, because MY LAPTOP IS WORKING AGAIN! It's been a whole frickin' month! Oh, man, it's so good to have this thing back and working! No more having to use my cellphone for literally everything, no more worrying about battery issues... finally.

Now, to use this thing effecively so I can start earning some real money and get myself out of the rest of this hole my life's in right now.

Sssooooo, the IELTS results have arrived!

Aced Reading and Listening (9 of 9, that bit of bullet-dodging during the exam came in handy after all), got average marks on Speaking and Writing (6.5 and 6, respectively), with the overall band being 7.5, as expected.

The certificate will arrive next week and it will be valid for 2 years. I can now safely seek for a job in whichever anglophone country that would accept a "Good English user".

Woah, 9 in Listening is a pretty boss score. I took the test a few years ago, it was pretty useful to improve my overall English level.

Lovecraft: Working computers are always nice.

Miller: Congrats! Where are you looking to move and work?

In my life, I should have my DD-214 in about half an hour, signalling my release from military service. So then it's a month of cleaning the crap out of the housenote  before I drive up to Seattle and start my new job with Boeing.

Blue: Well shit, you will be moving to my home state. The wrong side of the mountains mind you but I guess Western Washington state is ok. ;P

In other news, it is snowing quite thoroughly. I may have to take a cab depending on how hard it snows by the time I have to consider going to work. I will be leaving early obviously. Little Phoebe had a look of, "Are you fucking kidding me?", when she realized it was cold and snowy outside.

Scion: Hope you have 4 wheel drive.

[up][up]My aim in general is US, Canada, Central or Northern Europe. Depends on what offer I'd get, really.

So far I've got offers from Eastern and Southern Europe, though there were options to relocate to Germany or Spain. I will be able to actually move only at the end of the next year due to circumstances, so now I'm spending time and money on getting the necessary certificates (both required to attain the work permits and the professional ones).

[up]We've had our first snow in the early October, though there was a week or two of warmness afterwards. Now it's started to snow again, and it seems this time it won't stop.

His physical form may have died, but the man is immortal. He lives on in his creations. There will be no more movie cameos, true, but in many ways the movie ITSELF is a cameo.

And so has the time come again, where I must travel in order to visit my family back home. There I go again, to a city I don't like to interact with people I don't mostly like for the sake of meeting five of them that I do. This time, half the reason I had for going isn't even there anymore (An aunt of mine would be coming from US to visit, but her husband had a minor heart attack right on top of the trip and they cancelled, so I'm told), so all this trip amounts to right now is spending my extended six-day long holiday in a different city instead of resting at home.

Oh well. Little choice. At least food and house will be free for the next week.

Cool, I have a friend from high school who moved to Germany (and is trying to officially emigrate there from the US).

From my e-mail information, I have training in Everett, then work the night shift in Renton.

So ... why not cancel and stay home rather than deal with a bunch of people you don't like.
