-mops his brow-
AMS: Good to hear you're alive. How much of your company is still functioning? What about the armour?
-A massive airship bearing the Union Jack flies over, dropping dozens of depth charges into the sea-
-swims towards the nearest spot of land on what used to be the Rock of Gibraltar-
Totally wiped out. I've lost Lincoln, Harrison, Washington and Jefferson squads; all I have left is my communications specialist. As for the armour, I have no idea, though given how heavy it is, it could be lying on the sea floor and we'd never know it.
The Danse Macabre Codex-pinches the bridge of his nose-
AMS: And the Italians?
-finally, a small boat comes up alongside Rotham and the Marines. They clamber aboard, grateful-
Just perfect! Now what do we do?
Locking you up on radar since '09Don't know. -spots the boat- Hold on, it looks like Rotham and his group survived.
-waves energetically-
Hey, Tinkerbell! Glad to see you're alive! Fancy giving us a ride?
The Danse Macabre Codex-The sea, already rather choppy from the recent disturbances, roils as the depths charges go off, Scylla writhing in pain. Then several tentacles, bleeding and missing chunks breach the water, latching on the the front of the airship, tilting it towards the water. The helpless crew cut the engines in an attempt to soften the inevitable landing. [[{{Cliché}} The blue sea is turning red with blood]].-
(In all probability, I won't be here tomorrow, so let's finish this boss fight tonight. Bring It On!!)
-The Captain of this vessel, a tall woman with silver hair stands from her seat, drawing her saber-
The Captain: All hands, get ready to make this landing work.
Very well, rock-for-a-head. But let us deal with this impudent creature.
-he shakes himself dry and leaps into the air before hacking away at the tentacles-
Locking you up on radar since '09Tentacles do not register the attack, but continue grappling the airship.
Can somebody help me here? I think more rapiers may work!
I can see that becoming a meme on par with "Drive me closer! I want to hit it with my sword!"
Locking you up on radar since '09-holsters his pistol and pulls a collapsed sniper rifle from the netting on his back, which he rapidly assembles-
Son, what is the frequency of your equipment?
Comms: My frequency? Sir, what are you—
No time to ask questions, maggot! The frequency!
-the comms specialist rattles off a long series of numbers, which Mc Cullen enters into a small display on the rifle-
Good. Now get Command on the horn again.
The Danse Macabre Codex-The airship lands with a mighty crash, though its lowered speed lessens the impact somewhat. Four hideous canine heads, each bleeding and damaged, breach the waterline. The first head opens its mouth, attempting to eat the airship (I'm assuming this thing is bigger and wider than a zeppelin).-
The Captain-smirk-: You want a bite? Fire!
-Panels slide up along the sides, and hundreds of fae fireballs fly out to hit the champing maws at point-blank range-
Comms: We have a channel, sir.
Admiral! You listening? It's Mc Cullen. Tell your teleporters to set their coordinates to the following frequency...
-rattles of that list of numbers, then flicks a switch on the rifle's scope. What appears to be a Masonic targeting laser projects from the barrel now. Mc Cullen hefts the rifle and takes aim at a dark mass that he assumes to be Scylla's central mass-
The Danse Macabre Codex-The head rears back, shrieking in pain as it feels the missiles hit its diseased and tender gums like so many wasp stings. Enraged, the other heads bite and tear at the ship, while the tentacles continue pulling it down. One of the heads, missing an eye, bares its teeth as it sweeps unfortunate crewmen left and right off the ship to their watery graves.-

AMS: Sequences locked in... What do you have in mind?
-smiles, still aiming-

The Danse Macabre CodexI guess I had better get to a safe distance, then...
-flies back to the small boat-
Get ready, gentlemen. This will be one heck of a show!
Locking you up on radar since '09AMS/The Captain: READY ALL GUNS!
-The airship is now entirely submerged, though some of the survivors have found refuge in the beast's fur.-

Ready, men...Compensating for surface tension and instability...
-continues aiming, satisfied that the laser is focused right on the titanic beast's heart-
Fire!
The Danse Macabre CodexAMS/The Captain: FIRE!
-Ten panels open on the airship, and blazing torrents of Fae power blast into Scylla-
This post was thumped by the Stick of Post Thumping
-With a horrifying quadruple screech that pierces the eardrums of all beings for miles around, every tentacle and head on Scylla's body flails about wildly, setting off more gigantic waves with every spasm. The crew are pulverized or drowned in seconds.-
(^ Uh, the airship is underwater now, and likely in several pieces. Or do you mean a different one?)
(And just because There Is No Kill Like Overkill, here comes...)

-choking up seawater- Supreme Being take me, but that was hellish.
Comms specialist: Sir, I'm receiving a transmission from the Oberon. It's Admiral Suther!
Give it here! -takes it from him- Hello, Admiral? This is Mc Cullen.
