Does one really choose the swears one uses? Personally I use mostly "fuck" and "fan" , but that isn't because I chose them, it's more like they are the most common and so thus more ingrained(?)/comes easier.

Probably not consciously, no. But given that people can both stop themselves from swearing and start swearing on purpose, they might.

Funny thing about *humon is I knew about her works for a few years but only ever read/looked at her Team Fortress 2 Webcomics. It was only after I started reading Axis Powers Hetalia that I started reading this.
That being said, this is basically the Western World's Axis Powers Hetalia, but I love it just as much as APH.

I'm kind of neutral to Scandinavia And The World (despite or because of being Swedish), but the last few strips have been pretty darn funny. Especially the shampoo bottle slash one.
