We're adjusting the Memetic Mutation pages so that you can put notable references to a meme under its entry there. It's also probably a Shout-Out?
BTW, I'm a chick.Thanks- I'll check that out. I was thinking of two examples- first, in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, a character known for wearing tacky t-shirts is once shown with Pedobear on one of his shirts (figures that show would know about that meme).
Also, on a recent episode of The Rachel Maddow Show, she used the word "frenemy" to describe Russia- I believe Stephen Colbert coined the term, and it's now ended up in the Oxford English Dictionary (afaik, "truthiness", another word made up by Colbert has also ended up in the dictionary).

HodorWait... when did umm Whats His Face have a Pedo Bear Tshirt?
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
Not sure if this should be Lost And Found, but I wondered about examples of popular memes showing up in a work. I don't think Ascended Meme covers it, but I'm thinking for instance (making up this example) like if a Rickroll was referenced in Chuck.
