This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Is it at all possible to end my suspension? I acknowledged what I did wrong and would like to get back to my cleanup efforts.
It has been over a month since I was suspended from editing. I've apologized for my actions [1] but I have yet to have my editing suspension lifted.
Is there something else I need to do in order to edit again?

For a month I haven't edited! Please let me do it! I've found tons of articles I want to improve but I can't because of the stupid suspension! So please I want my suspension to be removed just because I've launched trope without permission! I will never do that again! I just want to improve my favorite articles! I can't take it anymore!

I am begging you to reconsider. This is the last time you will ever hear of any issue from me again. Come on guys I am committed to this. Please. Let me show you that I am serious about this. I've made the mistake of being abrasive in the past yes. But I don't want to fight with anybody. Please guys you have to give me one more chance. I will never make this mistake again. This site is near and dear to me. Please reconsider. I will honor your terms. I am fully committed and I will prove to you all that I am. I made mistakes and I will own them. Do not do this please. I am only here to edit . that is all I want to do.
I understand why this suspension occurred. And I will address my offenses to the fullest. I have no intention of fighting with anyone. I had a disagreement, I handled it poorly, I will apologize and not come back to it. My sole priority is editing. I have not argued with anyone here in a long time. This was a serious lapse of better judgement on my part. I mean I can't even answer my new messages sitting in my inbox. Fixing editing errors is not an issue, I will address them for quality's sake. This site is worth that effort, don't question my desire and determination to do better, I ask youto hear me out. I am over what occurred before. Just hear me out guys. I love this site too much to just be asked to give up.
I swear. I will not re-offend. That is my promise. I love editing. And it's not worth losing that over this. It will be back to editing and nothing else but editing. ~Aceina: I'm not sure if your grammar issues are due to lack of fluency or lack of effort, but in either case your editing suspension can't be lifted. For the time being, you'll need to post any future edits you want to make in the Get Help with English thread for proofreading.

This is AftermathJack. I found something I wanted to post, but then saw I was suspended. Something that has never occurred ever since I signed up around last year I believe. I became confused, because I don't recall getting into any discussions with others, or into wars. My edits being mainly on fanworks on little else. The closest I can think of was maybe my spelling, and if so, how may I change so I may be approved to edit again?
Hello, I am Owlcyclops and I would wish to ask about the status of my suspension that was due to my lack of understanding grammar. It has been I believe months since I have been suspended, been on TV Tropes and I wish to know if I can lift my suspension or at least if there is a way for me to earn the right back.
I accidentally clicked it (I'm on mobile BTW). I didn't know it lead to rouge launching. I would like to edit again please, that was just a mess up from me.

Oh, I didn't know that. I had no idea how launching pages work. I thought you just vote for launch approval? I'm only familiar with editing pages. I made this account last year or two, and I only recently found interest in editing pages rather than just reading.

Because Deadbeatloser 22, this is all I want to do. This is the truth, all I want to do is edit. I love this site. And if you give me that chance, you'll never hear from me again on any further disturbance of any kind, I am giving you my word carved in stone. I love this site and I love the people I get to meet here in passing. There will be no further conflicts over editing or whatever, if there's a problem from now on I will address it accordingly and respectfully. AND I will be more prompt in dealing with formatting issues, those indentation errors are a minor thing that I promise will not become a habit. I'm still not very clear on what exactly my mistake was with that but I've made it a lot I know so tell me what to do and I will make sure it's not a recurring issue anymore. I value this site greatly, I've been coming here for years and I want to be part of this awesome team. You let me have that chance and I promise you you will never hear from me again. It's solely editing from now on. And I will keep it professional without fail. I want this chance, I am ready to prove to you guys I am worthy of it, so PLEASE.
