So Saber either loves getting mauled is what you're saying? I'm not saying it's something she could only do once, but for her strategy to require her to get hit and then use the gap when her opponent is off guard from his attack failing the second time strongly implies that she cannot use it freely. God Hand and Quetz's invulnerability to Good are both always on and don't have similar drawbacks. I admit they aren't perfect either, but I find them superior.

And I didn't say that the other NPs only lost because of plot armor, I'm saying they were obstacles to overcome. Karna and Quetz's in particular weren't even beaten by overpowering the defense. Quetz wasn't beaten at all! She won and just switched sides because the protagonist impressed her. Avalon isn't written to be the obstacle, it's written to be the solution to an obstacle. If it ever appears again, it'll fail.

Man Salter sounds overpowered. Totally in the upper reins of the Nasuverse's power rankings.

Alters tend to be broken in some fashion

She's only an issue because her Master has basically infinite energy to give her.

She isn't actually. Her stats are lower than vanilla Saber's. She seems OP because she's getting an endless supply of mana from the Grail, which means she can throw Excalibur around as much as she wants without any repurcussions.

Blame that on the new Alters of the franchise (Jeanne, Cu) who are legitimately broken on some aspect.

But not all: Edgemiya is rather weaker compared to his vanilla version.

Salter also has the "infinite regeneration" thing going on.

BTW I think Jalter is still weaker than vanilla Jeanne: her version of La Pucelle isn't an instant kill and her nature as a wraight means Jeanne can just exorcise her, no problem, and she doesn't have any defensive skills of her own.

Emiya Alter was a mistake

EMIYA Alter is a pretty good character in my view. His main issue is his character design.

I like Emiya Alter too honestly; which is funny because he's basically how the original behaved in the OG Visual Novel, albeit being way more amoral about his duties.

He is more machine now than man.

Yeah, Jalter doesn't have Jeanne's best tools and her trump card is an Attack Reflector, which is kinda too reliant on her opponent to be considered consistently good.

I feel sad for him due to getting screwed over by Kiara.

She's a lot worse if you've played CCC.

She's a Honey Trap, sweet and enticing but once you're caught, you're through.

Is there a reason why the FE Kiara doesn't count as a Complete Monster while the FGO one does?
