Seeing no immediate danger, she goes in for a closer look.

-Looks around the area a bit more and spots the Ivysaur-

Better finish it quick though, I'll only be here for like 2 and a half hours.

-With the party inside, midday sunlight filters into the ziggurat from some unknown source-

-A man in a toga◊ stands before them. "Ah, at last. Truth be told, this plane has little of interest in it, but it should be good enough for —"-

-A black blade erupts from Tzekel Kan's torso. He looks down in outrage. "You can't think this would —"-

-A distinctly... violent sound can be heard, and blood flows from his mouth as well as the wound. Tzekel Kan falls, and a slim figure in black robes withdraws his sword from the corpse-

HP: -9999/1. He needed a cameo to complete the Boss Rush, but I wasn't about to try another actual fight with him.

-As the body fades, so too does the image of the ziggurat, to be replaced by a huge cathedral with stained glass windows, a high, vaulted ceiling, and a row of pillars on either side supporting the roof-

-Crona regards the party without expression. "I'm supposed to kill you now."-

Time in.

"?! Y-you again!"

... So it turns out I can't do the finale. Fuck.

Shadow Man flips his dagger around in his hand and brings it up.

"I'm not sitting this one out. Thanks for the dagger, by the way."

-"What dagger?"-

-Backs away from Mikael in stark terror-

-"Ragnarok, I don't know how to fight giant serpents!"-

-A thin voice emanates from somewhere. "Just the same as anything else, you idiot! Do I have to tell you how to do everything?"-

The Ghost tilts his head slightly upwards in interest at the Girl in black butchering the Savage and the change in the environment before he bounds like a mad dog towards the Girl and attempting to slice her into ribbons with his Spatha, using movements that are way too fast and accurate for any normal being to track, let alone perform.

"Nice sword! Gonna hang it on my wall once you're in pieces!"

-Growls, before whipping it's tail at crona-

-sheathes the dagger and tosses a kunai at Crona, making sure it's aimed just such that it won't hit any teammates-

-afterwards, begins to walk towards the brawl and draws the dagger again-

Ivysaur raises up, standing only on her front legs, She lets a brilliant beam of light out of her bud, followed by dozens of rapidly moving seeds.

Dammit; forgot to wait for Strigon first. :| Anyway...

-Blocks the kunai, ducks the tail, is hit by some of the seeds, blocks the first combo slash...-

-...Which removes a good chunk of the black blade...-

-...And retreats with all possible speed-

-"Get back there, you filthy maggot, we can take him! Just learn to dodge! Do you want the dark room again?"-

-Crona stops in his tracks. "No, Ragnarok."-

-"Then get back there."-

-"Yes, Ragnarok..."-

-Turns to face them again-

Gotta counterattack eventually.

-bites one of the pillars, breaks a chunk of it off and throws it at Crona-
