I know this is really late, but I just happened across this anime while Tv Troping, and all I could think when I watched it was...

It's exactly like Lucky Star. With DELINQUENTS.

I think that Cromartie High School is not bad. I like the pure randomness and how Kamiyama can be both goofy and logical. I am also a fan of Mini Mechazawa.

Oh man, I love this series. I think it tends to be Love It or Hate It, but I personally really love it.

I think I first saw this series before Lucky Star came out, so instead of associating it with that series I thought of it as "Azumanga Daioh BUT WITH BADASSES!"

Darn, I love this show. It's a bit uneven (I'm not fond of the Ear Worm episode, for example), but when it's on, it's ON.

I find it hilarious. I mean, for the past two weeks we've watched like 5-6 episodes in one go in my anime club (which kinda gets like, okay, can we watch something else for one episode?) even though they're just 12 minutes long. Very, very funny, though; the outlandish humor works better with giant scary high school delinquents than with high school girls.

Though every time I see the... wossname, the main character, I can't help but think he looks like a mix of Kurono and Katou.

I ought to hate this series - it is irreverent, non-sequitur, and deadpan. Yet each time I watch it, I can't help but feel myself crack a grin the audience. It's that kind of meta-humour that really tickles me.

Freddie is such a badass rides a horse to school and everything.

Although he was probably the prettiest princess. Oh god that episode.

It's the pencil eating scene that made me fall in love with this series. I only read first two volumes though. :/

Just watch it the anime is amazing. Especially the english dub if you're into that sort of thing.

I was introduced to this series through my best friend's iPhone version. I like it and I wanted to get this cheap DVD with 8 episodes, but it was gone when I returned for it. I haven't been bothered to read more of the manga since I was introduced, though.

I played that with some people on skype

How was it? I can imagine it'd get comically frustrating, like the series itself.

I got stuck in a loop and never got past the first half while a friend got to the end with 0 bad things happening to him. It was fun though.

Some of them are a bit dickish. If/when I play, I'm thinking of the following:

• For the ones that make you do something, if you don't do it you lose a turn
• You have to land on the finish, not past it. Kind of like Sorry
• I can't decide if for the ones that have different results for different people, if they intended for it to count if that character lands on it, or if anyone lands on it.

We just played it as everything works on everyone.

You know I don't think Kamiyama ever was really normal. He got some guy to eat like 20 pencils by the 8th page.
