Personally, I think it's the third one. He's never shown his actual avatar in a truly bad light, just that he was once misguided, but now is on the path of righteousness.

...Wow. He's actually not having Squig relapse. I... I mean, I'm not sure if this is progress, and if it is, I'm not sure how far it is, but I wasn't entirely expecting that, especially with one of the previous strips being called "once a member, always a member."

Also, minor gripe, but Tats was doing a great job keeping those stained glass windows behind the porno-preacher consistent until this strip.

Your loss Squig. Honestly, between fapping regularly or trying to win the approval of a pack of joyless harpies and a woman who's name NO ONE ACTUALLY KNOWS, I know which I'd pick.

I still think that right now Tats wants those messages to be taken at face value, because he's trying to please Someone Else. But the ambiguity gives him enough wiggle room that if the relationship with Someone Else ever ends, he can retcon everything into a repudiation of radical feminism.

UPDATE: And come to think of it, I got the strong impression that Nameless Sad Abused Runaway Orphan Hooker Girl was in this comic because Somebody Else told Tats "No! You're doing it wrong! This isn't about him! It's about Her! "

x5: I'm pretty sure the stained-glass panels changing is deliberate. Like, pseudo-hallucinations on Squig's part? All of the figures in panel 2 are pretty specifically from Squig's old stash here. Still weird that it changes to yet another set at the end that I can't place yet. Also, the pose of the blue-tinted girl in panel 2 changes as we switch to panel 3.

Edit: Ah, the last panels are from the top line of panels here. Which Squig has no reason to have ever seen. They were also essentially being degraded as "low quality" there, even by the Johnbies. Why would they show up in the Porn & Prostitution church windows? Strange.

They don't need names, because all of them are perfect. That's why Tats' women and fembots are all essentially identical. Any differences among them are forced upon them by the roles that Evil Menz assign to them.

Heck, even the Devil Girls are named according to their colors. Fuchsia wouldn't be allowed to rename herself Cathy or Zelda or whatever.

Poe's Law is always 100% in effect in Sinfest. I'm on the side that Tats is absolutely serious, since he's been going at this since 2011 and has only been getting worse.

It's not strange that we can't tell whether he's serious or not. If he's serious then his beliefs are so radical that only another radical could agree with him. For non-believers Sinfest reads as a cautionary tale against joining radical feminism, because the beliefs are clearly insane.

It's not a stretch to have Squig have flashbacks to Nameless Sad Abused Runaway Orphan Hooker Girl's face. In the storyline Squig is feeling horrifying guilt because it was all but said directly by Nameless Sad Abused Runaway Orphan Hooker Girl he personally raped her and every other porn actress he ever saw.

So him thinking about her during his "reconversion" actually fits the story for once!

There's really no good answer to that, speaking as a prospective author, beyond "You shouldn't, that's a poorly written soulless husk."

Basically, Sad Hooker is the narrative equivalent of the drawing this face: " —__—" on a piece of cardboard.
