The page image was removed for not being supposedly not being scary out of context (the official explanation being that it consisted of nothing more than a man looking intimidating). This is despite the fact that the image was chosen in the first place because of the controversy it caused when featured on the cover of The Radio Times for how disturbing it was. (That and the whole Facial Horror aspect.) At the very least, perhaps it could be cropped to focus specifically on the man's bloody, bandaged face. Here's the image, for reference:
