Indexes are kind of a gray area. I personally prefer to give a quick blurb about the linked page, particularly with work genres, but that's not strictly required.

Genres are indexes as far as wiki is concerned, so context is optional. So it's another reason why we could talk if genres should be own type.

I've been working a genre page draft, but there's something im unsure about
Should the genre page include context for the works? Or should it just list their titles?
If they do need context, what should it be? A general description of the work? Or should it be more about how it uses the genre?
There seems to be no consistency with the existing genre pages
