Does BecameTheirOwnAntithesis have to be in a story with BlackAndWhiteMorality?

The description for Became Their Own Antithesis says that they completely alter their view towards "The Hero, Saving the World, and Black-and-White Morality", but I could definitely imagine an example where there is something like Gray-and-Gray Morality but the two sides are still such opposites of each other (like Order Versus Chaos, Harmony Versus Discipline, Romanticism Versus Enlightenment) that a character can completely switch in personality, appearance in goals such that they are the opposite of what they once were while both sides maintain their sympathetic sides. Why would this not be allowed?

I think that Became Their Own Antithesis can totally work in the examples you provided! The description probably highlights Black-and-White Morality because it's the easiest example to understand, not because it's required.

I feel like the description should be altered to make that more clear, though.
