OP seems to be asking for examples of a trope, as opposed to looking for a specific trope.

There's this example from the Mercy Kill Arrangement page:
- Jessica Jones (2015): When Jess and Simpson are getting ready to try to capture the Psychopathic Manchild Kilgrave, they both tell the other to take them down if Kilgrave manages to control them with his Compelling Voice.

I am looking for examples in any fiction where a character's reaction to learning one of their teammates or allies is under mind control (specifically mind control, NOT possession) is to intentionally kill them or try to kill them as opposed to trying to defeat them non-lethally, either because there is no way to undo the mind control (or at least they don't think there is) or because they just don't care for their teammates' lives. If this leads to a Dying as Yourself outcome then it would be unintentional with the main goal only being the "dying" part. Has anyone ever seen anything like that anywhere before? (I should clarify that I'm not planning to make this its own trope, mostly because it's so rare and specific that I've never seen an example of it until now. Maybe I could try if I get enough examples, but I won't count on it.)
