I've always thought Incredibly Lame Pun was more tropeworthy sounding than vanilla Pun which is likely why I and others forget it's a redirect.

The page now known as Stealth Pun was once named Incredibly Lazy Pun, it was used as a massive Pothole Magnet so it got renamed and Incredibly Lame Pun was created to serve as the new Pothole Magnet, then that eventually got renamed to Pun because it was being potholed for any pun whatsoever regardless of lameness.
