Yeah, there are a few of those wandering around. Same with Queen Gibdos.
Edit: Not wandering per se, their arenas are pretty clearly marked.

It's been fun. There are three of each boss in the Depths. With the exception of Mucktorok they all drop a powerful attachment for a weapon or shield.
Song of the SirensAhh yes, gattai-sequence hyrule mecha that is functional
Needing mid-tier monster parts for armour upgrades is such a hassle. Like, getting 3 Gleeok Guts per piece for the Royal Guard set is understandably hard, but there are exactly 14 Gleeoks in the world and I know where they all are, if I want Gleeok parts, I can go Gleeok hunting. There may genuinely be fewer than 14 Captain Construct IIIs in the world after most of them have upgraded to IVs, so I'm stuck just killing the three I know of and then waiting for them to respawn (which seems to not happen every blood moon... don't know why, but sometimes I'll head to Thyphlo immediately after a blood moon and the captain constructs will still be dead).
And then there's needing Lizalfos tails specifically from the weaker varieties even though those are the ones that are the least likely to drop their tails.
Yeah, the grind is much more real and tedious in this game. Especially now they've removed a lot of duping.
You can at least buy green lizalfos tails in Kara Kara Bazaar
Song of the SirensHuh, turnes out the ancient Sheikah technology is not completely gone and you can still find materials to create Ancient Arrows, seems to be extremely rare though considering it took this long for me to find it.
I stumbled on three ancient arrows in chests before I got the means to buy them. Used one on my first encounter with Phantom Ganon and it just scratched him.

Just started TOTK! So far collecting tree branches and wooden sticks, and the Master Sword already broke against the very first enemy I saw.
The Protomen enhanced my life. The Skyview Towers and the Purah Pad use Sheikah tech
Song of the SirensPlus there are some Guardian scrap lying around.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yeah but both of those are new creations while the mass of Sheikah tech that was all over Hyrule seems to just have dissapeared. You can argue that it was repourposed for the new towers, but those are really not large enough to explain where all of it went.
And as far as guardian scraps go, I'm pretty sure its just the single one on top of the Hateno lab.
Yeah that the one I was thinking of.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. This may sound like a dumb question but how do I get off the very first island?
The Protomen enhanced my life.just keep doing what the voice tells you to do and then eventually the game will very blatantly go "you can jump down now"
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaDon't forget to pick up Link's new outfit after each shrine.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I can't find the voice or what it wants. (And I only picked up the pants.)
The Protomen enhanced my life.Okay, so go to the big ruins near the center and try to open the door.
EDIT: Wait, did you talk to any of the robots yet?
If that's the very first island, then you can just jump off to the next one as long as the next island has some water.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Oh! It wouldn't let me examine the robots unless I was right in front of them.
I kept trying to attack them and didn't see an Examine prompt. I found it just before reading those posts. Thanks!
The Protomen enhanced my life. There's something I want to make sure I have right: Is the Champion's Leathers why I can fire the Master Sword's beams at any health? Because I was very confused why a Damn You, Muscle Memory! moment actually worked.
EDIT: ok, i was right. Tunic of Memories might be able to do the same, but i didn't get that yet.
Surprisingly, no. You get that ability right the moment you collect the tunic. Also, you're suppose to use the "throw" command for the beams.
Edited by ThunderboltZekesAlt on Jun 3rd 2023 at 2:02:23 PM
Not that I'm aware of. In fact, I don't think I've seen the sword beams once, and I've had the Master Sword and the Leathers for a significant chunk of the game.
It's been fun.You need it at 2* to do that I believe.
My Leathers are fully upgraded. Maybe it's just because I tend to use the Master Sword at close range so the beams don't show up?
It's been fun.Yeah both the Champion Leathers and Tunic of Memories give you health independent sword beams. Was really surprised to discover this after a long period of having both the tunic and the sword but never attempting to shoot beams at less than full health. Also they don't need to be upgrade, my Tunic of Memories was never upgraded.
Oddly enough, the Tunic of the Wild, even the fully upgraded complete set, does not have this feature.
I found Mucktorok on my own, though it was visible from further away. I can’t imagine randomly running into Colgera, though, that sounds terrifying.
Is there still a Marble Gohma? That one’s already in the Depths.
Oh God! Natural light!
