It is. I can barely see that in dark mode.
(But even on the original site, it's entirely context-dependent to be recognised as a machine gun mounted in a rocket.)

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableUploader of the current image here. It's showing a cop pulling over a man with a gigantic cannon mounted backwards on his car, and he obviously wasn't driving from the driver's seat because he's on the roof fiddling with the gun. I don't know what's unclear about that.

It's a clear as crystal implication, but the problem is that it's just that: an implication. The image needs to directly show the trope, not just imply it.
...I think that's unnecessary. If the implication is already as clear as an actual depiction, then one illustrates just as well as the other.
That said, there is an advantage in looking for images beyond xkcd, and since I've already found it I would be remiss not to suggest Godzilla vs Hedorah◊.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIt's a bit hard to recognize that as a machine gun, honestly. So, I think the current should be kept until a better one is suggested.
I think the current illustrates the trope well enough and is better than OP. But we don't like having the same source for the page image and the page quote, so we should either find a new image from a different source or change the page quote. The latter is easy enough, just swap with one of the entries on the quotes page.
That said, 5 has horrible quality, so I vote for the current so far.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Crowner's hooked.
Votes bump, one in consensus range.
This is at day 4 and current is the only option in consensus, so considering it a keeper. Adjusting the tag and closing.

Recoil Boost
While the image is an example in context (it's an illustration of the page quote), it doesn't actually illustrate the trope on its own—the obvious conclusion is that he's been pulled over because of the giant machine gun on his car. We could instead use an image from a little later in the article:
Someone should check the transparency on this though, because I think the image I uploaded is line art on a transparent background.
