With all that said, I suggest we continue with said cleanup function.
any items to address?
I mean, we aren't troping either of those things. We are troping the work as it exists. Every edit to the page doesn't need to be run by the author, especially when he's allowed to edit the pages himself.
Absolute destiny... apeachalypse?@Libraryseraph
Yes, but unfortunately just being the author does not give me the right to just barge in and do so. I already went over this with the mods while on suspension for atempting to edit them in the first place.
What we're doing here "garnering favor and vote" is the best way to do without violate site rules.

Libraryseraph is correct.
DakariKingMykan is allowed to edit objective pages of their work provided they follow the rules on Auto-Erotic Troping.
However, cleaning up the pages should not be contingent/dependent on their input, but on what is actually in the example writeup. Authorial input only matters so long as it is verifiable within the work, and they don’t get special say on whether or not someone/something should as a trope example.

Before:
[* Palette Swap:
- A particularly lazy example; as seen on the author's YouTube video on the characters, as the cast consist of just recolours of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Scootaloo. Made even more obvious by the fact that, with the exception of Lightning Dawn, the author never actually bothered to recolour their eyes.
- Heck, Rhymey isn't even a recolour; just Fluttershy with a horn, clothing, yellow tail, mane and different hairstyle.
- as shallow as the original. He has tried to cover this up by... slightly darkening Starla's coat, which he feels "ruins the design".] Starla Shine is, according to recent videos, just a Rarity clone, but not

After:
[* Palette Swap: According to the author's vids and artwork, many of the characters greatly look like each other with the only differences being colour and hairstyles. In the stories themselves, characters are often described by their similarities to others, such as Cerise Wonder/Magenta being someone "whom greatly resembled princess Cadance— same color, same mane style, even same voice— but Cerise had a golden horn like Lightning had."]
Is this better?
Would I be correct in assuming that just because the word "lazy" is used to describe a few entries in the Palette Swap page itself doesn't mean it's okay to use it unless the creators deprecate themselves?
Who else should be invited to this forum?

I'm wondering if we should keep everything related to the Informed Attribute?
Cerise Wonder/Magenta
should be just "Cerise Wonder"
The "Magenta" thing was an error. It had been such a very long time I had forgotten the name I gave her, and I wasn't able to find it. (Even the fic was corrected)
There is no "Magenta"
What about we invite Random Troper 123? I see them frequently edit the pages as well.

I don't see why we shouldn't keep it, plenty of other franchises have lots of Informed Attributes of some sort. Twilight, GoAnimate, American Dad...
Very well.
Okay. Hey, ~Random Troper 123, wanna help out here?
Now is my new version of Palette Swap suitable or not?
@N.Harmonik
Yes, it looks better... it's not looking snarky.
Next item is under Grand Ruler Celesto...
Author Avatar: A pony who was ostracized by his Equestrian peers, and eventually splits off from them to create his own world of ponies governed by his own design and rules. Does this sound at all familiar? Furthermore, his design is directly lifted from the author's OC cosplay and Mykan's This example contains a TRIVIA entry. It should be moved to the TRIVIA tab.Hypothetical Casting has himself voicing Grand Ruler and refuses to even consider the possibility of anyone else providing Celesto's voice, believing that only he can do it right. When he came up with the concept for the first time, Celesto was even going to be named Mykan.
- His design was not lifted from my cosplay (His head is just a modified version of Celestia with extra horns; the rest is hand-drawn)
- I do consider the possibility of other actors voicing him, but I'd much rather do it myself.

Sure, if I find something that I think could be brought up, I'll present it here and I'll help when I can. (Sorry for responding late; I didn't get a message and only saw that when I decided to check the cleanup thread.)
EDIT: I just expanded this comment slightly.

~Dakari King Mykan How does this look then?
- Author Avatar: A pony who was ostracized by his Equestrian peers, and eventually splits off from them to create his own world of ponies governed by his own design and rules. Furthermore, Mykan's Hypothetical Casting has himself voicing Grand Rulernote . When he came up with the concept for the first time, Celesto was even going to be named Mykan.
Much better
Thanks. I'll make that change.
Looks like I missed a sentence in there...
and eventually splits off from them to create his own world of ponies governed by his own design and rules.
He didn't split off willingly or by choice...
- Nightmare Moon cast him into space where he was teleported to the planet that would become Unicornicopia, and he decided to make it into a habitable world and create his own ponies
How about if I put in "(albeit not by choice)" towards the end of that part then?
Yes, I suppose that will do...
Or do you think it would be better if I cut that part off altogether?
Judging from either way how it is written, I suggest cut it entirely...
His origins of creating his world and the space ponies should be a different segment.
Thanks for your input.
There is still much that needs to be cleared, and not just with Starfleet Magic.
I'm guessing Friendship is Failure is one of them, right?
Very much...
I wonder what tropes we should get rid of when it comes to Mykan's OCs?
The whole point of this thread is to clean up misinformation and complaining that are on the author's pages. We're troping whatever he's trying to do with his work, not how the audience sees it. The latter's for YMMV.
