I still want to do this, so I'll elaborate.
Anyone who wants to collaborate works together comes up with a world, it's rules, and characters.
And then we can work together to figure out the plot
Or we could each do a different t version and have some way to tie it together doing different realities
I can do art to start off, but I'd like someone helping me
I wanna do something like sci fi or fantasy
Mixed with horror/thriller/mystery
I want to start my own webcomic but I don't think anyone would read it right now
So I thought it would be cool to collaborate with other ppl, and still if no one reads it, at least we'll support each other
What role are these collaborators playing? Are we drawing? Writing? A bit of both?
SKREEEEEEEONK!Either or.
I want at least one other artist to join at some point.
I'll post up some art later.
I’ll be a writer if I join in.
SKREEEEEEEONK!I'm already working on a webcomic: https://themagiccoin.thecomicseries.com/ but I might be able to do something. What's the story you had in mind?
Wait, I thought you said we’d be working on this plot together? Or is it just my own thing that you’re doing art for?
SKREEEEEEEONK!Yes, @General Gigan.
We'd be collaborating on the plot.
@El Squibbonator, I'm not beholden to anything.
One idea I have is, the world has been decimated by multiple catastrophes in seemingly random parts of the world. In the far future, the world has recovered, but one mega corporation has taken over mostly everything.
Resistance groups are trying to overthrow it, a reporter is trying to expose them, a scientist is getting weird readings matching what transpired in the first cataclysm, and people are having weird dreams of other worlds.
So how do I join in? And more importantly, how am I going to contribute to this?
SKREEEEEEEONK!So in this scenario, the company was performing experiments and caused a branching off of realities that most people don't know about.
So what we could do is everyone could have their own universe, but they would interact with each other.
For example, say the Mega Corp has representatives that they send through, and establish connections.
And/or we also map out plots beforehand. I've never done anything like this before, but for example, we can all write up a mini Bible of our sections before we start, share them, and then connect them and change things as we actually begin writing.
This is just an idea, but I like it because then the universes can be whatever you want them to be. A slight variation, or wildly different, and then we an add on if more ppl want to join.
I want us to write in arcs tho, so we can have big moments that matter.

So we all get our own universes to ourselves? Neat, I’ve got an idea for an Urban Fantasy universe myself. I just want to know the name of this big multiversal conglomerate and if there are any constants across every universe.
SKREEEEEEEONK!Infinite Planes? The Highway? Borderless?
I'm excited.
I've started writing on mine. It's going to be futuristic Cyberpunk.

I meant what the MegaCorp’s name is, and if there’s anything else constant in this Multiverse.
SKREEEEEEEONK!I haven't thought of a name.
One idea I had is that someone people have an 'other' across universes.
And sometimes pain, emotions, memories, or skills bleed through.
I think the Corp would have different branches in other universes.
Would I serve as a writer, an artist, or both?
It would be up to you.
Mine will be a cyberpunk futuristic world.
So I have this set for the first arc.
I'm focusing on a man who has memories bleeding through from his Other, who I would like to be a character from someone else's universe. He eventually gets whisked away after confessing things to his therapist, but gets saved by a resistance group.
Someone from the CIA who encounters something weird, and from that encounters the Department of Outreach, who recruits him to be a highway man.
And a scientist who is investigating the catastrophe from years ago, and from there makes contact with another universe. He, or his contact from the universe eventually get discovered and have to escape to the other side.
Since it's just the three of us right now, I'm committing to drawing one long arc that ties into each of our stories and see how it goes.
It will be color less and sketchy as hell.
I'll post up some art later, and some writing samples for mine.

Question: Where should I send you this Universe Bible? Should it be on this site or something like a Google Doc?
SKREEEEEEEONK!It's up to you.
If you do google drive or send it to me, my email is johnnykanegrass@gmail.com
It’ll probably be on this site.
SKREEEEEEEONK!Should we move this to Worldbuilding?
I have no idea, personally speaking.
SKREEEEEEEONK!I'll make a thread
Like different people adding things to the world And different people just switching off art and writing duties?
Like scp in execution
