I like how Mikayla's now just quietly resigned that this will keep happening.

Foxes will steal anything they like the look of, so yeah, not surprising XD

I mean, to be fair here, Jagger seems a considerably less competent thief than others.

I wonder with these kinds of videos, do they just stand there all day with a camera, waiting for something funny to happen? Or do they somehow know exactly when the funny thing is gonna happen?

They tend to be at regular times or when Mikayla is coming to do something specific (Train them in this case, or give them new toys). Either playtime with specific foxes, morning when they open the pens, or feeding time.

Though you do see that during the aformentioned playtime Mikayla's almost always recording.

And some, like Finnegan, tend to react in pretty similar ways most of the time. Catch Finnegan in a good mood, and he'll basically always roll over for pets and start giggling.

They're basically cats in that regard. Everything they do ends up being insanely cute, so no matter when you point the camera, you'll get something funny.

I guess like how Mikaela is Finnegan's favorite, Ethan might be Muttias's.

Yes, he's gotten way more confident and unwilling to put up with Finn bullying him since Ethan has been around.

Muttias: "I've got a person now too, what do you say about that?"

Finnegan: "ehehehehe"

Why do those type of foxes make that sound, anyway?

The laughing sound is one they do with humans if they are used to them, but foxes have a very wide variety of sounds they make.

Of course the hehehehe might explain some of the trickster myths.

As for 'those types', both Mutt and Finnegan are normal Red Foxes.
