Yeah this looks cool AF. I have great memories of Live A Live.
Very nice announcement.
The original has been on my to play list for a while. So this works out quite well for me.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobHey,could you give us a summary of the title, kthanksbye
New theme music also a boxIt's a remake of a Super Famicom game. It's a turn-based RPG where you play through different scenarios, each set in a different time period. It's very short for an RPG, but still very good.

De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Yeah. First chapter in particular is infamous for taking place before writing, so the story is done entirely without dialogue. It's one of the SNES' most experimental RPG.
I admit, I'm thinking of giving this guy a look if I can.
One Strip! One Strip!Which guy?
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I'll keep an eye on this. It's not that I'm uninterested in it, but I have a ridiculously large backlog and an RPG isn't going to help make it smaller.
Help me. I can't get it out of my head.Live a Live.
Like, the game itself.
Heard good things, and lets be honest.
We all just wanna play Odio and nuke the hell out of everything.
One Strip! One Strip!Goddamn SE’s on a roll with putting out remasters of their old games. Now I finally get a chance to play this game!
GOH! JII! RAH!There's a surprisingly sad ending if you do pick Odio at the end.
Pyrrhic villainy at it's finest.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Live a Live is pretty much the OG Genre Deconstruction of JRP Gs, before FF 7, Undertale, Drakengard/Nier and the like.

Watch SymphogearWell this is unexpected, in a good way.
Disgusted, but not surprisedOersted is legit one of the most compelling and tragic JRPG protags.
But saying anymore would be spoiling it.
Can't wait to use Sundown. I love how each chapter seems to be expanded upon.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Unfortunately, the game will cost $40, which is very high for such an old and short game.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.This is expected, in a bad way.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI mean, there are scenes in the trailer that AREN"T in the OG game.
So I imagine this is going to be one of those remakes that are vastly expanded upon.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'm fine with it because its not just a remaster, but a built from the ground up remake in the same vein as Dragon Quest III HD. That, and it would cost less then what it would have been back when it first released in Japan.
One idea I thought of would be an extra phase to the final battle that ends in an MGS 4 Slug fest with an even more tragic version of one of the games OST's playing.

Watch SymphogearI do hope the new version of Megalomania will be suitably awesome.

Disgusted, but not surprisedCorrect me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the only pupil for the China chapter shown in the trailer is Li Kugo. Was she the most popular of the three pupils when the Suoer Famicom game was released?
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Yeah, she's the most popular one, even though the kid was the one who was hyped by the story.
Because she's the only girl player character in this game.
But I'm sure that the other pupils are in too.
I do recall that you can fight Oersted one on one during the final boss battle but only if you choose to execute him, and it's just a game over.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. Now, there are two things I know about this game: it is the Trope Codifier for Player Punch, and it is the main musical inspiration for Toby Fox. I feel like those two things alone are enough to want to play it from an academic standpoint, regardless of how well everything holds up.
Oh yeah, Megalovania and Megalomania keep getting compared.
As well as Odio and Chara. I see similarities thematically but not character wise.
I seriously recommend playing it blind. I went in knowing the big twist, but I was still hit hard, I imagine it will hit much better if you don't know anything.
