3. Both.
An Adaptation Personality Change could work for Rouge the Bat, it would be amazing and surprising for this as a trilogy and it would create even more Sequel Displacement.
Obscure Reference: "It can sometimes knock out opponents with the shock created by breaching and crashing its big body onto the water. Its either Amy Rose or Rouge, both are fairly mainstream Sonic characters,I'd love to have Blaze but she's nowhere the same recognition as the other two
New theme music also a boxRouge.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.Probably Rouge.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I took one look at where this rumor came from (Giant Freaking Robot, by the way) and I automatically ignored this rumor. GFR is well known for not having the best track record when it comes to movie news and I just take this rumor with a big grain of salt.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I found the rumor earlier today via The Sonic Stadium's Twitter, but I got grumpy when I found the source was GFR.
Did those GFR guys ever get any scoops or they've all been hokum, because now I can't stop thinking about Julie from Scott Pilgrim as Rouge and I'm bummed that it 99.99999% won't happen.
NGL, Amy and Rouge would work quite well if introduced in the Knuckles series (specially if Amy is NOT introduced to the main cast in that one; her whole Prison Island stunt and mistaking Shadow with Sonic work far better if she is just a fan of Sonic rather than an actual friend).
Complexities of good storytelling: introducing characters in Knuckles TV show is a good way to establish and develop them and makes it easier to use them in Sonic 3 but on the other hand forcing people to watch the tv show to understand the movie isn't that great. But I guess with MCU we're slowly moving to reality where it's more acceptable, huh?
That's my biggest concern with the Knuckles TV series. On the one hand, I do want them to introduce some elements that would be important to the third movie. But on the other hand, this might force a lot of people to watch the Knuckles show in order to understand what's happening in the third movie and sometimes, people just don't have enough money or time to get Paramount + just to watch the Knuckles show. That's been an issue with the MCU movies as of late as some of the movies rely on you watching the MCU shows on Disney + just to understand what is going on in the movies.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!It's a long shot, but if Blaze shows up in these movies I'd like her to be voiced by Grey DeLisle.
My mistake.

The very post you quoted also mentioned that.
I wonder if they will get Grey De Lisle into these movies.

I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!So, there's a tweet that stated that the Knuckles series might be like a PG version of Peacemaker. However, the person who posted this tweet did state to take this with a grain of salt. So, it's possible that some things might change during production.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I'm taking that with an entire bag of salt.
Also, according to this tweet, the filming for Sonic 3 might start in August.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Even if the triple strike happens?
You can't kill art.I'm wondering about if the Writers Strike and the possible strikes from the actors and directors will end by August. If they don't, then I have a feeling that they would have to delay the movie.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Eeeeeeee!
Although the caveat is that they're doing all the shoots in a studio. Which means no leaks like what we got in Sonic 2's filming...
But hey, I guess we (theoretically) won't have to wait much longer on who's voicing our favorite black hedgehog anti-hero, right? (Idris Elba being revealed as Knuckles happened on August 10th 2021, so maybe one of us can use that as a reference?)
We have any theories on who's voicing Shadow? I remember Robert Pattinson and Keanu Reeves were pretty popular fancasts, but I wonder if Oscar Isaac could kill it as Shadow.
Didn't one of the filmmakers say that they finished the final script before the strikes started? (Can't find it now, but I could've sworn a tweet said that.)
Funny thing about the Strikes, I recall seeing tweets about Ben Schwartz partaking in one that was at Walt Disney Studios. (I think. I know it was a Disney something.) So that's a pretty chad move from him.

They're shooting the movie in studio? Aw man, that means that I can't do anymore videos about the updates of the third movie!
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!At the very least, there won't be a triple strike. The studios and the director's guild reached an agreement.
Which can provide precedent for the actors and writers.
You can't kill art.I think resolution for the directors' guild has set a precedent for the use of AI in movie studios and that might help out with the Writers Strike.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!what did they decide?
New theme music also a boxUse of AI is forbidden for directing, bigger residuals and wages, that kind of thing.
You can't kill art.
My guess is Rouge.
It's easy to forget nowadays that Rouge was one of the villains of Adventure 2, which they seem to be adapting for Sonic 3. The Reveal that she's actually The Mole for the government and not really on Eggman's side came way at the end of the plot, just before the final missions, after she had spent the vast majority of the story as a bad guy.
